Intro
Being good at pinball is not only about sharp reflexes but also playing smart and planning each shot. You probably know that you should try to calm the ball by traping it with flipper so you can give yourself a breather and aim with more precision. But, what if you need to take a shot on the same side where you've trapped the ball? That's where this neat trick comes into play.
The theory
To perform this trick you need to have the ball trapped with one flipper. Then, release the button and quickly press and hold it again and the ball will travel with minimal bouncing to the other flipper.

What's the deal
When you press the button again, the ball will hit the lowest peg on the bumper, bounce back and roll over the flipper straight to the other side with minimal air time meaning you can capture it immediately.

High risk - high reward
Of course, this move brings a risk or two with it, mostly if the ball doesn't bounce with enough velocity to travel to the other flipper. But when you get a hang of it, it makes playing pinball a lot easier and looks cool enough to impress your friends.

This works on both Pinball arcade and real pinball machines!

This is more commonly referred to as a "post pass", I think. It's possible on most tables, but there certainly are a few where it's not at all possible.

Great Trick for any Amature to advance. One of the first pinball tricks learned for the older solid state tables.
