Super Mario Bros 3 Board Game

NOTE- The playtime on this game is rather long, and has taken upwards 3 hours based on playtests. This can be reduced with game experience in subsequent playthroughs, but do note that full games, especially on the first game, can run for a while.

Relive the Super Mario Bros 3 experience in tabletop format! Gather up to four players and see who can race through the Mushroom Kingdom first!

Roll the die, move that many spaces, defeat enemies, and gather items to help you on your quest! Save coins to purchase items and gather extra lives to stay alive longer than your foes! The first one to defeat Bowser is the winner!


Everyone takes turns moving around the board. On your turn, you roll the red d10 to see how many spaces you can move. On every stage space, draw an enemy to defeat by rolling the three d6s. If you roll higher than the enemy's power, you clear the stage and keep moving! Pass by mushroom houses for items and stop at spade spaces to shop for special bonuses with coins you earn from defeating enemies.

Each world has a castle that houses the boss. The overall objective is to defeat each boss of each world first. When you defeat a boss, you move to the next world. The first person to defeat all 8 bosses is the winner!

Two variations of the rulebook are available in the mod; a "quick and dirty" version is available in the in game notebook, and a full rules PDF is available for a detailed explanation on every aspect of the game. Be sure to check them out before you get started!
