ČD 372 Bastard

Description
Hello,
The Class 230 of former eastern czeckoslovakian federal railway ČSD and it's successor ČD is an electric, dual-system locomotive build by Skoda. It is used in cross-border-services between Germany and the czech republic. Similar locomotives have been purchased by the former east germany railways, called class 230. Because of it's dual-system-capability, it has been called Bastard.

This set contains seven different, but realistic liveries of ČSD, ČD and ČD Cargo.
All liveries are included in a rotated version as well which can be switched off using the settings.lua file or the commonAPI.
All models feature a highly detailed 3D-Mesh with 4 LODs, dds-textures and dirtmaps.
This mod would not have been possible without the work of Bandion (Mesh) and Baubus (Sound). Thank you guys!

technical specifications:
- top speed: 120 km/h
- power: 3080 kW
- tractive effort: 280 kN
- weight: 84 t
- lifespawn: 35 years
- availability: from 1988

You have found an error, want to discuss the mod or know about my next projects? Take a look here[www.transportfever.net]

Have fun with the model.

greetings
Railtim

If I'm not mistaken, the name "Bastard" is not due to the loco's two system ability, but rather due to the usage of older rheostatic controls from the 60s, compared to the thyristor control of the other models of the family from Skoda - like the preceding and successful 363. DR didn't want them no thyristors for some reason (officially due to weight concerns). The 372s were more than a bit outdated because of that, and unnecessarily so, hence the Bastard nickname.

Thanks for the model nonetheless, can't wait to try it! The similar 363s and 163s were quite common where I live up until some five years ago (I even rode on one!). The RegioPanters and RegioSharks pushed them out of passenger service and the Cargo lines around here are handled by different locos... piece of my childhood gone...
