Arriva Trains Wales Class 150 (Coach 1)

Omschrijving
Arriva Trains Wales was a train operating company in the United Kingdom, operated by the parent company Arriva UK Trains (which itself is owned by Deutsche Bahn, which is a German concern).

It was in existence from 2003 to 2018, and was the dominant TOC in Wales. They operated passenger services over a number of routes, some of which ran into England. Welsh cities and towns served by ATW trains included Newport, Cardiff, Swansea, Milford Haven, Aberystwyth, Pwllheli and Holyhead. The English stations served by some ATW services included Shrewsbury, Chester, Crewe, Birmingham International and Manchester Piccadilly.

This re-skin is based on the earlier version of the ATW livery. It was only carried by DMU's of Classes 142, 143, 150, 153 and 175. The real-life 150260 was/still is a Sprinter unit that operated/is still operating in Wales.

Arriva Trains Wales ceased to exist in October 2018, as the company lost the Wales and Borders franchise to Transport For Wales. TfW is a company operated by Keolis and Amey, and is set to operate the Wales and Borders franchise until 2033.
