What the mod does?

- This mod changes the names of the slavic men and women in the grand campaign to variations closer to proto-slavic versions of the names or the all-slavic versions of the names, to represent the early time in the history of the nations and the fact, that they haven't divided so much yet. It also changes some names in The Age of Charlemagne, so they more closely correspond with the medieval variants of the South Slavic and West Slavic names.

- Next it changes the names of the legendary buildings and their flavour texts in the grand campaign. No more totems of the wolf. Rather a pillar of the gods. No more lunar shrine of Svarog. Rather lunar shrine of Khors. It also changes flavour text of some of the city and town religion buildings. Mostly Perun's, as in this early times he wasn't the head of Slavic pantheon but rather a god of war. Also some unit's flavour text has been changed (e.g. Perun's warriors, Svarog's riders)

- It changes the name of the pagan Priestess into the Seeress, as she is originally called in the game files. As there surely were priesteses, but they usually, stayed at the shrine, as the priests did.

- It also changes the description of the New Kingdoms factions trait from "Nations are merely lines on the map,..." into "Territories are merely lines on the map,...". As the previous sentence did not make much sence to me, since members of a certain nation can live beyound the borders of their kingdom.

I understand that not everyone will like all the new names or all the other changes. But I am sorry, nothing can be done about that, since the mod is more or less done.

If you are interested in the encyclopedia pages I've written you can see them in the pictures here. If I figure out how to put them in game, I'll do so imediatelly.
I worked primarely with Z. Váňa's book on Slavic paganism.

Enjoy!

We have Slavomir till this day. It's pretty common.
Plus the old meaning of the word "slav" is still debatable, and "mir" has two possible meanings.
Read on it ;)

"Slava - Slavomira" ...?
Realy?! Did you realy have this name in your language? "Glorious World"? We have Slava, Slavcho, Slavena, Slavun, Slavka et.c. Never even heard of a name with "slav" as a root to have "mir"aded to it."

You don't speak polish then, brate ;)

Just for the record.
Yes, we had and still have such a name in our language. The origin of the word Slav is still debated, and my goal was to make this names as little 9th century as possible. Since the base game is set in 5th century. I did my research. Now if that would be all...

"Lasota - Gostislav / -//- (I did not find any old slavic name connected with forest)"
You don't speak bulgarian then. Lasota is from 9th century bulgarian royal court. I think he was a scribe. Modern day name example for forest connection is "Lesko".

"Slava - Slavomira" ...?

привет.
для английской версии имена находятся в фаиле local_en.pack. думаю если у тебя русская версия то этот фаил будет назван local_ru.pack или как то так.
он находится в Steam\steamapps\common\Total War Attila\data
