About & How To Use
About
This steam guide aims to help steam users to easily access it through steam overlay either on Fullscreen Mode or Big Picture Mode with the purpose of sparing background CPU resources such as browsers (Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.) and the Fallout 76 Borderless Fullscreen mode that triggers low frames to some players. Since steam overlay browsers doesn't offer the ability to bookmark websites, this guide will help just by opening it on the web browser and it's links in new tabs.

The source of junk materials and its yielding components is from Fallout Fandom wiki[fallout.fandom.com], (which I believe is added by players) and it was now been modified and corrected by me on some of the yielding values here on steam which were incorrect on the wiki tables (some of these still might have incorrect values or may be changed by new Fallout 76 updates, if this is the case and you know about it, leave a comment down in the comment section to kindly provide this information so I can change it).

How To Use
You can easily navigate this guide by choosing the raw type of junk material you need on the right column and read which junk materials you can pick up that yield what you need when scrapped.

There's also the ability to press CTRL + F to open a search bar where you can type either the raw type junk material to quickly jump to wherever it's written on the guide or to type the unscrapped junk material itselft and see for yourself what it yields when scrapped.

FLUX
Raw flux is harvested from flora which have mutated as a result of being in a nuclear blast zone.
In its raw form, this flux is consumable and provides water for the player character.
Before it can be used in crafting, the raw flux must be stabilized at a chemistry station by combining it with a glowing mass, hardened mass and high-radiation fluids which can be found on the bodies of creatures in the blast zone.

Release + Update Notes
Steam guide created on 21th April 2020
  • Update 1.05 - Removed "Chez Vivi Typewriter" as it is cut content [25th June 2021]
  • Update 1.04 - Added Steel [7th May 2020]
  • Update 1.03 - Updated About section of the guide including a How To Use information with it; Added a Junk Management spreadsheet on useful links and Max Level Power Armor Stats. [26th April 2020]

  • Update 1.02 - Added more Useful Links; Abraxo Cleaner didn't seem to yield Fiberglass, probably only the Industrial Grade version of Abraxo Cleaner provides it, removed Abraxo Cleaner from the Fiberglass section; Added all missing junk items except Steel for now. [24th April 2020]

  • Update 1.01 - Minor corrections on Yield amounts due to it being incorrect on Fallout 76 Fandom Wiki Junk Tables, when you click on the junk item it opens a page where it shows a different yield value than of the table. (There might be some incorrect yield amounts, if anyone notices this just comment so I can change it here) [22th April 2020]

  • Release 1.0 - Added most junk items except: Ceramic; Cloth; Glass; Leather; Plastic; Steel; Wood. [21th April 2020]

Experienced poor after-sales service! Very very disappointed, I don't want to see you again! Please don't send me ads! ! !

@Meowsers Yea just confirmed it and removed it. Thanks.

@Marshal I don't remember reading your comment, anyway if it isn't too late, any problems like this you should contact bethesda support directly, they are the ones that can help.

Hello, the role in the STEAM account. After the items in the backpack are lost, they will not be able to be placed or taken out, and the transaction with the merchant NPC will prompt: "Server transaction failed". I don't know how to solve it. Character name: MARSHAL; level 615, ask for help
Hi, I don't know how to find that can help. I don't want to disturb. I don't know how to find it. Can anyone provide me with contact information or official feedback emails? thank

There is a website who has been stealing a lot of Fallout76 guides from steam. i dont know if yours is on, but mine was. here is a link, just DONT DISABLE YOUR ADBLOCKER OR GET ONE i dont want this poeple to earn money thx. https://gameplay.tips/tags/Fallout%2076/
Reaper  [author] Apr 24, 2020 @ 4:25am
@equalizer Knew about that website as well though it didn't seem very active but there's some new builds in it, I added it to the Useful Links section. Cheers.

@Airpilot Thanks!

@SpaceDink Tried to find that information but nowhere to be found right now, though you should be breaking all the weapons you find to get the mods for modding your gear later, if you really need lead you can get a lot of it by looting toys, paints and cans, there's also some workshops that provide lead once you capture them and build the appropriate resource collector, I'll try to add those locations later to the sections.
SpaceDink Apr 23, 2020 @ 9:27pm
how about what weapons break down into? at least one of them gives lead so its useful to scrap
Seacaller Apr 23, 2020 @ 7:48pm
