Airbus RACER - Commando version

描述
Airbus Helicopter Prototype RACER
Commando version

The Airbus RACER (Rapid and Cost-Effective Rotorcraft) is an experimental high-speed compound helicopter developed by Airbus Helicopters from the Eurocopter X³. Revealed at the June 2017 Paris air show, final assembly will start in 2019 for a 2020 first flight. Cruising up to 400 km/h (216 kn), it aims for a 25% cost reduction per distance over a conventional helicopter.

With real version based on H160 cabin, this vehicule may be sightly bigger. This is what could be a military version, for long range special operation missions. 26 passenger seats, 4 missiles and 2 external fuel tanks.

Features
  • 26 passengers seats
  • 2 harnesses with both winches controls
  • Auto-rise back winches when occupied
  • 8 illumination flares with lasting count on cockpit
  • 8 smoke flares with lasting count on cockpit
  • 1 gimball camera
  • 4 missiles (straigth forward, no guidance)
  • RGB cabin lights
  • 2 pilot seats with switchable flight command
  • Interactive system display with map, radar, touch camera control, landing camera, weather informations, engines, fuel capacity and speed meters with switchable units
  • Double touchscreen radio system
  • Altitude hold
  • Up to 272kn (140m/s, 500 km/h) with propellers
  • Refueling hatch
  • Refueling boom
  • 38000 liters of fuel for exceptional range
  • +4650 liters of fuel with both detachable external tanks
  • Closed bays for landing wheels
  • Heaters
  • Distress beacon
  • Beacon locator
  • Formation lights
  • 2 search spotlights (command on second pilot seat)

Start-up
  1. Enter cockpit on pilot seat
  2. Activate Avionics and General electric breakers (up behind throttle lever)
  3. Activate fuel pump and both engines switch (up ahead of throttle lever)
  4. Wait to engines start, you can increase throttle a little (0.25 is enough to exit hangar)
  5. De-activate brake (down middle ahead of thrust lever)
  6. Pitch down a little to exit hangar and taxi
  7. Increase throttle between 0.35 and 0.40 (you can't go over 0.4 as thrust is zero)
  8. Raise with collective
  9. Close landing gears (down middle ahead of thrust lever)
  10. Increase both throttle and thrust to go full speed
You may need to slow down slowly as it may shakes. Altitude hold switchs between helicopter mod (act on collective) and plane mod (act on pitch) at 30m/s. You may need to slow down manually before landing.

WIP
  • Fuel lasting time and range aren't functional as it changes too much
  • Add waypoints on map and maybe an autopilot
  • Luxuary transport version

Yeah, flight model isn't perfect, it's not my speciality. You may have difficulties with yaw because I don't pass trougth gyro for yaw command. Try to be very gentle on yaw (and don't touch it before giving thrust) or change sensibility on controler (lowest one inside fuel tank in the back of the heli).

i really like your creations mate but for some reason idk if its me or what i cant get them to fly right. i follow the start up instructions i get off the ground a little and then they just start flipping out all over the place or if i do mange to get airborne ill fly forward a bit and then itll spaz out without fail. any ideas ?
