Semi-Auto Bow

A meme mod that halves the reload time of Bretonnian peasant archers (at rank 9 they fire every 4.4 seconds and do over 40 damage per 10 seconds). 3 archers (1 of each type) at rank 9 can solo Kholek Suneater. They won't kill him but he'll run away.

The closest thing this mod comes to being balanced is the archers still have garbage accuracy, AP, and stats overall. So if you're firing at the enemy from max range and they're shielded you'll chew through your ammunition. But you'll still shred the enemy just less efficiently.

For maximum meme-age get a Life Damsel & Beast Damsel to slow Kholek down to 7 speed and a Heavens Damsel to lower his armor.

Inspired by Shadiversity and Joerg Sprave's videos on his semi-auto long bow.

Why half reload time AKA double fire rate? English longbowmen could shoot 10-12 arrows/minute, that's 1 arrow every 5 seconds. Shad shot 4 arrows over 8 seconds with a very short reload time thanks to Joerg's ammo clip, that's 1 arrow every 2 seconds (Joerg is even faster with 5 arrows in 7 seconds). Also the bow has a 100lb draw weight.


If there's enough interest & subscribers I'll probably try to turn them into a RoR, instead of just an overpowered meme. But I'm an inexperienced modder and have never modded RoR.
