WBG: Lincon Island

Modeled using real world topographical and satellite data I have reproduced Lincon Island in the South China Sea. This island is half scale of the original.

Lincon Island is part of the controversial Paracel Island chain in the South China Sea. Owned by the Peoples Republic of China, the island has undergone artificial expansion by the PRC under the guise of a "commercial resort." In reality this island among the others in the chain are being used as forward military outpost to counter U.S. and allied forces from probing into the region.

Lincon, one of the smaller and more sparse islands in the chain, has a landmass of approximately 600m x 250m terrain while the entire battlespace including ocean is 40km x 40km. This tiny island with large ocean expanses allows for large scale naval warfare and amphibious invasions. The island is dotted by small outpost and concrete pads for Anti-Fleet and Surface to Air Missile Batteries to be placed.
