The Dawn Is Your Enemy

Based off of the old mysterious Adult Swim sign-off bumper, The Dawn is Your Enemy. Made in 1920x1080 Resolution.

Possibly the most well-known Adult Swim bumper, it would occasionally play at Adult Swim's 6:00 AM sign-off time. Surprisingly enough, the image and ambiance are not copyrighted and remain uncredited to this day, as most of their older bumpers are, leaving it a mystery as to what the ambiance is and who made it.

Adult Swim would frequently air vaguely threatening, ominous, or disturbing bumpers, all of which would feature low-fidelity music, sounds, and ambiance, and most of which depicted old newspaper styled drawings, still photos, cityscapes, or papercrafts. Lately, though, they have been using more modern and abstract styled bumpers, with the current bumpers being a GAN generated bumper of various [AS] IP's blended together, superimposed with harsh colors and an image of a brain.

The Dawn is Your Enemy in particular sparked a small creepypasta following for a minute there too, and appeared again in a revised jigsaw puzzle bumper mid 2019, only to vanish once more. Many small fanmade renditions and parodies of the bumper have been made, such as The Dawn is your Defiler, or The Dusk is your Friend, but only the original bumper ever actually aired on Adult Swim.

It's theorized the ominous tone of these bumpers was to scare children from watching the television too late into the night.
