Times 10, also known as Team Fortress 20 is a Team fortress 2 mod. It can be played on any map as a stand-alone mod or coupled with many other mods. Unlike most mods presented in this series, x10 isn’t a full blown mod-gamemode. It’s a significantly game-changing mod but doesn’t affect standard rules and objectives.

Today roughly 10 servers run this mod. Weird coincidence.

So what is x10?

x10 is a modification to the normal game rules where every weapon, including stock weapons are greatly over emphasised.

The idea of the mod is to take the positive and negative stats on weapons and times them by 10. The end result is a slew of powerful weapons. Even though this is the general idea of the mod often weapons are simply edited to better balance them versus the weapons that were made overpowered by having 10 times the stats. This is especially true for the stock weapons as they have no stats to begin with.

Some examples of the new stats on x10 weapons are:

The targin targe. It grants fire and explosive immunity and where as it previously granted only resistances to these damage source.

The L'Etranger. It grants the spy full cloak when they hit an enemy but only deals 1% of its normal damage.

The Sandvich. The heavy now carries 10 of them.

And that’s basically X10 in a nutshell. An odd modification to regular Team Fortress 2 gameplay. A strange idea that may have originated from a forum thread.

Tide turner kinda sucks though since the booties give you the same effect on charging AND +100% movement speed AND +300 health. Unless you have the booties as a demoman your pretty much a free kill.

Yes the Loch and Load has one bullet. Natasha does slow you down more, plus you get 30 health per hit at the cost of 50% less damage and double the spinup time. The charge and targe now only grants immunity to explosive damage, all other shields only had higher resistances instead of immunity. Splendid screen can deal up to 400 damage per charge [really annoying to deal with] The brass Beast is +200% damage -99% movement speed +90% spinup time. The passive damage resistance is the same now though.
