Mitropia: The Mythical Game of Surrounding - Pre-release

Description
Pre-release version of the Kickstarter edition of Mitropia.

Mitropia is a strategic area-control game rooted in the mechanics of the ancient game Go, with surprise elements that make it fun for every player! Use tribal powers, pattern movement cards, special actions, and more to capture the most territory and prisoners on the fields of the Gods.

The underlying game mechanics are simple to learn, but create intricate strategic and tactical challenges every time you play. The card drawing and random board generation elements of the game create a more even playing field between advanced players and casual players. These elements can also be dialed down or removed for pure strategic contests. With Mitropia, you get the best of both worlds combined: meaningful strategic gameplay but fun surprises.

Currently the game is unscripted, however we are planning to add scripts as soon as possible.

First thing to script will be scripted setup for different number of players followed by game round mechanics. Please comment what would you see as other features.

The game is currently available to back on Kickstarter and get a physical copy of it: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/timewarplabs/mitropia-the-mythical-game-of-surrounding

Proper direction - I meant the direction you want it to face ;)

What do you mean by "proper direction"?

Hi EnergyGames. You are right. The manual is from our prototype version of the game which we have changed since. Not by much, but the directional tile is out of the game. Instead, just put the pattern card next to the board, facing proper direction. I will update the manual this week. I am also working to bring some scripting in the game, so we can have an automatic setup at least :)

Thanks for bringing the game to tabletop. The game seems very entertaining, I have yet to try it for more than two players. BTW, I can't find the arrow tile to select the forward direction
