Anubis: Smokes

A guide to learn some useful smokes on de_Anubis
(64 ticks servers)
(Some smokes are not working anymore due to the last update, I'll fix them as soon as possible!)

Smoke B - Canal connector (1)

Difficulty:

★

Block yourself in this corner:

The floor should look like this:


Then, Left-click Throw while looking at the top left corner of this semi-spheric ornament

The smoke itself is not very useful but it can be used to close completely the bombsite and not having to care about the connector.

Note that this is not a one-way smoke but someone could still stand on the right corner of the entrance like this:

Smoke B - Canal connector (2)

Difficulty:

★

Place yourself on that stone, in the corner made of the box and the wall:

Be careful! This position can be rushed pretty easily!
Left-click throw by aiming there, so you're aligned with the black mark on the right of the crosshair and the junction of the two "leaves" of stone at the top:

Again, this smoke is not that useful itself but can be used with the following ones.

Smoke B - Right side of the obelisk (1)

Difficulty:

★★★

Block yourself in this corner:

The floor should looks like that:

Aim at this point. I personnaly put my crosshair on the black mark on the left column and then move to the dark shadow on this one. Then left-click throw:

It is a very effective smoke, specially with the last one we saw.

Be careful, if you plan on using this smoke to access the bombsite from the canal connector, depending on the accuracy of your throw, you may have a gap:

Smoke B - Right side of the obelisk (2)

Difficulty:

★★

Go to the short way to mid and place you here:

Then aim at that hand-shaped shadow on the floor

Aim at that leaf. Note that it is a pretty tolerant landmark. Run & left-click Throw (one to two steps)

It should look like this. Unlike the previous one, there is no gap on the back of this one.

Smoke B - Long (1)

Difficulty:

★

Place yourself in that corner, it is a bit slippery but you can easily block yourself

Aim at the top of the wall, align the crosshair with the middle of the round-shaped stone ornament under it (the fourth one):

It should look like this:

Smoke B - Long (2)

Difficulty:

Place yourself in this corner:

Aim at the top-left corner of that stone and left-click throw:

It should then look like this:

Smoke B - Short (1)

Difficulty:

★

Place yourself in this corner. Even if a bit slippery, it should be easy to block your character in there

The floor should looks like this:

Then, aim at the wall extension while being aligned with the gap between the second and third circular stone blocks under. Left-click throw:

The result is something close to the bombsite and it's pretty effective:

Smoke B - Short (2)

Difficulty:

★

Place yourself on the top of that wall:
Be careful, if there is a rush, you'll be exposed!

Then look at this corner between the stones:

Aim at the middle of the gap between the third and the fourth circular stones, then left-click throw

This is a more deep smoke so you must be careful of the close positions (behind wall, in dark corner, etc.)

Smoke B - Long & Short (1)

Difficulty:

★

Place yourself on top of the wall there:
Again, be careful, you're exposed to rushs!

Then aim at the gap in the corner of the two stones

Aim at the center of the third circular-shaped stone like shown. Left-click throw:

It will block the way to both short and long on site.

Note that this is a one-way smoke, which means you can see all way long by looking to the edge of the smoke. Be careful! If you come too close to the edge, they'll be able to see your feet.

Smoke B - Long & Short (2)

Difficulty:

Place yourself against that wall, you should be able to 'block' yourself in place:

Then, aim at the left of the small hole at the top of the wall and left-click throw

It should then look like this:

Smoke B - Bottom of Canal Connector

Difficulty:

★

Place yourself here, on the short way to mid:

Aim at the metal bar

Look at (almost) the end of this leaf and then left-click throw

It should looks like this and can be really useful with a close-range smoke mid to rotate A

Smoke A - Mid Connector (1)

Difficulty:

Place yourself on the front of this boat
Be careful! You're in the front line if there's a rush!

Aim at the bottom plank and align your crosshair with the gap between the two vertical planks above

Then aim at this "cross" and left-click throw

It will look like this:

Note that this is not a deep smoke. People coming from middle will be able to sneak on heaven:

Smoke A - Mid Connector (2)

Difficulty:

★★

Go in this corner of the water:

Be careful, you can be seen from the middle bridge!
Aim there. There is no easy thing to look at but you can find a lair by moving from the stones under. Left-click throw:

You should have something like this:

This time, the smoke goes deep in connector and covers the entrance completely:

Smoke A - Left side of Heaven (1)

Difficulty:

Place yourself in this corner, on the wooden platform:

So the floor looks like that:

Then, look at the third 'cross' and aim above it, on the wall and left-throw click:

It will land on the edge of the wall and covers all the opening:

Smoke A - Left side of Heaven (2)

Difficulty:

Place yourself in the corner between the boat and the wooden bridge:

Aim at the window, at equidistance of the fence and of the stone pillar and then left-click throw:

It will land on the floor and cover the gap pretty well:

Be careful! There will still be a gap to see the 'ninja' position

Smoke A - Right side of Heaven (1)

Difficulty:

Block yourself in this corner:

Aim in the gap between the two circular-shaped stones that is aligned with the middle of the window. Then run & left-click throw (a bit more than one step of run)

It will then look like this:

The smoke has a gap on the bottom-right corner. This is not a one-way but the CT will have difficulties seeing you properly:

Smoke A - Right side of Heaven (2)

Difficulty:

Come close to banana, here:

Look at the floor, there is a little semi-circular shape that you have to look at:

Then, look at this exact place, a bit on the left of the metalic fence and on the edge of the stone arch (This is a very precise lair!) and left-click throw

It will then look like that but this time, no one-way gap:

Smoke A - Bottom of Stairs

Difficulty:

Put yourself next to the door and you should be able to block yourself:

The floor should look like this:

Then, aim at the wall above the window, in the middle (horizontally) of it, while being aligned with the middle of the window:

It will then land on the bottom of the stairs, which could be useful for a mid to A attack:

Smoke A - Close Banana

Difficulty:

Place yourself close to that corner in the banana. But not IN the corner itself

Then, aim at the crosshair/cross-shaped mark on the wall

Aim at the wall extension while staying aligned with the left extremity of the ellipse-shaped drawing on the wall under it and then left-click throw:

It will look like this but note that a molotov will be way more effective if the goal is to avoid the ennemy.

Smoke Mid - Connector to B (1)

Difficulty:

Go on the short-way to middle and place yourself here:

Then, align your crosshair with the edge of the step:

Aim at the middle of the leaf like shown and then jump & left-click throw:

It will then look like this, blocking the way out of the connector to B:

Smoke Mid - Connector to B (2)

Difficulty:

Block yourself in this corner:

The floor should look like this:

Then, aim at the left of the wooden bar so you're aligned with the edge of the tower behind and jump, left-click throw:

It will then land like this. Note that unlike the previous one, it will also cover the dangerous right side of middle

Smoke Mid - Connector to A (1)

Difficulty:

Go in this corner of the short way to mid and block yourself in:

Then aim at the top-left corner of the blue-grey band and jump throw

It will land like this:

Smoke Mid - Connector to A (2)

Difficulty:

Go in this corner, against that panel:

Then, aim exactly there. on the middle of the left edge of the roof extension and jump throw

This smoke will land more deeply in the A connector:

Smoke Mid - Short Entrance (1)

Jump on this pile of chair and block yourself against the umbrella:

Then, aim at the top of this leaf and left-click throw:

It will land a bit deep in the entrance:

Smoke Mid - Short Entrance (2)

Place yourself in the closest to B corner here:

It should look like this under your feet:

Then, aim there. You need to be precise vertically. You don't have to find a specific horizontal lair since it's pretty tolerant. I personnaly use the bottom of the edge of the roof extension to align my crosshair, could depends with the shape of yours. Left-click throw:

It will land as deeply as before:

Smoke Mid - Short Entrance (3)

Difficulty:

Block yourself in the corner made of this car and the wall in the T spawn:

Then, aim at the bottom-right corner of this stone. Jump throw:

It will land on the middle of the entrance:

Smoke Mid - Short Entrance (4)

Difficulty:

Block yourself in that corner:

Aim at the color demarcation on the top of this stone and then jump throw:

It will land like this:

Smoke Mid - Double Doors (1)

Difficulty:

Place yourself in this corner in short way to mid:

Then, aim there. To do so, you'll need to align with, just above the top of the leaf on the left and the middle of the wall (middle being the central window) at the bottom. Left-click throw:

It will land between the double doors and cover the gap

Smoke Mid - Double Doors (2)

Difficulty:

Place yourself in this corner in the canal:

Aim at the equidistance between the wall and the roof like shown and left-click throw:

It will land a bit closer than the previous one:

Smoke Mid - Close (1)

Difficulty:

★★

Place yourself next to this carpet on T spawn:

Then, aim at this black mark on the floor:

Finally, aim at the top-right corner of the left window in front of you and then go up to align your crosshair with the top of the wooden roof on the right, don't be afraid to go a bit higher. Left-click throw:

It will land like that, letting the way to jump canal:

Smoke Mid - Close (2)

Difficulty:

Block yourself in this corner:

Then, aim at the top left corner of the roof of the tower:

It will land a bit deeper into mid:
