Anbennar: filler flags plus

Description
*WORKS WITH EVERY VERSION OF ANBENNAR*

Disclaimer: Filler flags plus will now replace some of the original Anbennar flags with slightly edited alternatives.

This is a fanmade submod for the Anbennar: A Fantasy Total Conversion Mod
Which is accessible from: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1385440355

This submod used to only replace the flag-less nations' "rebel-flag" with new flags. Because the Anbennar team have been able to vigorously fill up the map with new amazing flags; I have decided to shift this mods' focus. It will now replace some of the original Anbennar flags with slightly different versions.

To the Anbennar devs: I would like to stress that I in no way mean any harm in making this submod. I do not claim that the alternative flags are any better than the originals. I also previously published flags that were taken from the dev build of the mod; before the said flags had been offically published by the devs. I was notified about why this was an issue and removed the said flags. I will never publish offical flags that have not already been published in the live steam version ever agian. I am sorry for the trouble this caused.

You should shoot your shot at making a Barumand flag

I definitely valued this mod back when Anbennar had tons of default flags. I agree you could have proceeded better, but this was an excellent part of my experience before. Now I don't need it.

What Creekj said is accurate. At the time I honestly did not see any harm in it. Now I do, and that is why I felt the need to apologize, and especially to him. I made a mistake and tried to explain it in the description. I do not want any quarrel and only wish that we can move on. So thanks guys, but there is no need for any sympathy. :)
Creekj Mar 31, 2021 @ 8:29am
The apology was due to flags being taken from the dev build without permission or credit given.

I'm disappointed you felt the need to apologise for your work. Many mod authors are entitled children who cannot handle someone making an optional addon because if any users download it then to them it means that their mod isn't "perfect". This is a very toxic attitude that infests many modding communities from Skyrim to Paradox and it's a shame you got flak by these people.

To my knowledge it is not possible to use the flags for custom nations I’m afraid.

I'd like use this flags in custom nations, will it be possible?

Most of the flags that got removed were offical flags that were taken from the public fork so they should become accessible for everyone once the steam version is updated.:)

Sad times, I liked those filler flags which were removed. Either way keep up the good work.

ayy mate, don't let anyone bully you into changing anything you don't want to change. Anbennar is an open source project, and this is a separate mod: you can do whatever you want here.
This mod both provides a service and opens an avenue for constructive criticism of some of the game's design, and if they instead choose to be rude, mean, or in any way aggressive towards you, that is their loss, and you owe them nothing.

Keep up the good work!
