Simple List and Description of City Contracts
By daniewrathh
A simple list of (hopefully) all of the city contracts in the game--at least, all the ones I've seen--and a simple but specific description of exactly what you need to complete the contract. Includes all DLC.

Introduction
First and foremost, this is one of the first things I've ever "posted" on Steam. So please bare with me.
Anyway, I noticed whilst playing the game that there didn't really exist a thorough enough list of all of the city contracts and their simple, basic, specific requirements or tasks. At least, I couldn't find one.
The little story or explanation the contract description gives is great and all, but, about half of the time, it leaves you pretty unsure what you're going to need to do.
And you can cancel contracts--for a price. (Which is a fine game play mechanic, I'm really not complaining. But this guide should help anyone that wants to know what the tasks will be beforehand so they don't have to cancel and pay.)

A few important points:
  • This will be a simple guide. Not super in detail--just the technical requirements for the contracts so you don't have to guess.
  • All of this is based on the medium difficulty. I'm not sure if that affects contracts or, if so, how much so I figured I'd put that out there.
  • I have all of the DLC. But I didn't really look that closely at contracts until after I had all of them. So, this guide won't be split up by DLC because I'm not entirely sure what contracts go with which pack--save for the Las Vegas DLC because that's an entire Hotel Section on it's own and host of contracts by itself. Everything else fits pretty neatly into one of the other sections. I do apologize for that anyway though.
  • That being said, I will try to make a note of the contracts I know for a fact were from Brilliant Berlin or London Life just because they make it super obvious. They still fit neater into other sections but I will point it out using either [BB] or [LL] before the task.
  • I won't be going over most of the prerequisite contracts because they tend to go in order anyway. I will make a mention of media campaigns and odd ball, from-a-different-section prerequisite contracts.
  • There are one or two contracts that I know of but haven't figured out the requirements for. This is primarily because I did a lot of the other contracts before getting to them--even when trying to do the bare minimum to avoid skipping contracts.

If I missed anything or you have the info for the few contracts I'm missing, please tell me. I'll add that information right away. (:

So, for example, with A Bit of Variety, you could have one restaurant that does coffee and breakfast and another that does lunch. Or one that does coffee and lunch and one that does coffee and breakfast. As long as you end up with enough to fulfill the meal requirements, it doesn't matter.

Hello, I think "Tastes of the World" contract requires to run campaign "Aesthetic Appeal" first.
daniewrathh  [author] Jan 7, 2024 @ 10:15am
I will absolutely try to add the ones I'm missing to the table when I get a minute (including the comment from 2020 that slipped by); been a minute since I've played the game but I'll still update the table/guide so new/current players can find that information with everything else.
Thanks for catching these btw--I knew back then I had missed some.

On the same contract line as the Affordable Housing contract from my comment, here's the next one.

Apartments: Outside Space
Pays 500 up front and 2500 on completion.
Grants 2 prestige.

- Have three areas of outdoor seating of any size.
- Have three trees of any size outside.

Apartments: Affordable Housing
Pays 500 up front and 2500 on completion.
Grants 1 prestige.

Basic Studio Apartments x 15
One Bedroom Apartments x 10
