Description
This addon makes it so that the in-game voice chat is local and plays on stereo rather than mono. In other words, if someone is talking to you from your left, you'll hear it in your left ear, and if someone is talking to you from far away, they'll be quiet.

sv_maxVoiceAudible - default 1500 - Maximum distance for listener to still be able to hear the talker
sv_proxChatEnable - default 1 - Enables/disables proximity chat


There was an update to gmod some time ago that anally devastated voice chat volume. Here are some commands to fix it!

SND_restart
VOICE_MAXGAIN 10
OR
voice_gain_max 10
^according to someone in the comments. I don't play anymore so I am too lazy to check :)

i finally figured out how to enable this :D so i thought id put it on youtube to see how many people use it if any.

and if you would like to play with this enabled, just type in the console "sv_alltalk 2" works on both dedicated servers (thats you server hosters :P ) and client hosted i definitely think alot of the RP servers should be using this style of VOIP.

My updated Version of this 3D Proximity Chat Addon is online.

Features:
- Works with TTT2
- Player Volume Control
- Voice Toggle (Voice Activation)
- Mute Spectator
- Graphic Setting Menu for Admins
- Hide other Players Voice Panel

@Xrafy 705 Oh shit, you're right. I changed something in the workshop description yesterday, and now it's stuck in Steam's automatic content analysis and is no longer visible to you.

Temporary fix, you can download my improved Voice Chat Addon from my GitHub and put it in the Addon folder until a Steam employee reviews it. I'll let you know as soon as it's online again.
