Dinosaur Island + Totally Liquid

Description
Dinosaur Island is a euro game where you take turns expanding DNA, gaining dino recipes, buying staff, lab upgrades and attractions, and finally building dinosaurs and attracting visitors.

This iteration uses the customer playmat floating around on Boardgamegeek.com which I think does a much better job of tying the game together.

I found a way to stop the error. It seems the URL they used for the diffuse/image no longer exists. if you delete the URL and import your issue should be gone

Hello i am having the same visitor meeple format error and auto locking thing. Did you find any way to fix it?

Hey, I'm new to TTS and I really love your workshop, however I'm having an error with the visitor tokens. for whatever reason the program is saying they are an unsupported format. When I try to import the custom model nothing happens and I get the error every time I pull a piece from the bag. The pieces are also defaulting to lock which is a bit frustrating. Any advice on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hey kidtuf, thanks for your great mod! I've played it with friends and thought it would cool to add some script features for the setup. I've upload the mod to the workshop, maybe I can add you as contributer? https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2160916609

@Knaughx thanks very much - and definitely huge shout out to those who made practically all of the raw assets available. My only addition was the importing of the customer playmat, which ironically was created for IRL neoprene printing by other great minds at BGG.

Your list is awesome, glad to see this make it on for Dinosaur Island :steamhappy:

@chocolatemystia It's my understanding that both five and six player changes are identical. That is to say, the bottom row of the market is unlocked (meaning you would place lab upgrades, attractions and staff cards there). Aside from that you add additional DNA dice to the pool and the game plays as normal.

Hi, wanted you know that your mod has been added to my collection: Board Game Geek - BGG - May 2020 - Best Mod for each of the Top 500 Rated Games. Collection here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2086043930

The collection used this priority system:

1. Mod's Files Availability: Mod with all/most files still available for download
2. Feature completeness: Mod with greatest inclusion of expansions and/or promos available for the board game title
2. Scripting: Mod with scripting that most reduces work in setup/play for players
3. Component Quality: Mod with the best visuals/usability in terms of component quality
4. Table Setup/Ambiance: Mod with the best immersion with table, background, and other modeling.

Please also note that a mod that makes selection for this list very well could be one in which the mod author borrowed the majority of assets from another workshop listing, so full thanks to all who worked on a mod.

Thanks for your hard work!

Nice to see this game back on the workshop, and with the expansion no less!

One question I have though: the screenshot shows a 6th homemade player board, how well does this game support 6 players? Should you add an extra market row or change any other setup rules?

@kidtuf You have a point the "turns" works much better (only learned of the feature after posting this - sorry) and can be customized but it would look so COOL! // Small thing noticed your purple and green team dashboards aren't "locked" like the others. Sometimes forgot to "lock" and someone upset sad when they've accidentally tossed the dashboard in the bag losing all their DNA.

@Cwluc - if I am honest, I don't think the first player token is really even necessary for this game. The area above phase 1 tracks that same thing, and it's generally never an issue. That said, definitely an easy upgrade and worth the quick tinker/import :)
