yuki.cfg - the mega config

yuki.cfg is one of the oldest csgo configs out there, with its first release already during the first closed beta, ported from the popular high-fps cs:s config with the same name.

this config is PACKED with aliases (features), most being silly, however many are also useful. if anyone has requests for additional features to be added do not hesitate to ask.

When was the last update?

The config was last updated 12th of December, 2020.

What changed?
Added a "good half" bind (z)
Merged all old radio commands (cycles through with x)
Changed C to be for the new radialmenu (cycle through by scrolling while holding c)
Added a new trashtalk bind on "alt+." (dot)
Alt+E now binded to the new 3D ping thing (replaces bombtimer)
GLHF, GH, GG and new trashtalk bind are now pseudo-random (order changes as you buy grenades with the hotkeys, should make the say binds somewhat more random order)
Removed the bombtimer command, if anyone used this I can add it back but I am assuming it wasn't really used.
Maybe something else I cannot remember.

Why yuki.cfg?
This config is for those who want a config that does everything, including things that definitely is not needed (but are fun!). It comes with every fps-boosting command still available (most have been blocked in various patches) but it also comes with a ton of other features, and whenever I get new ideas I updated the config with them.

Quick overview of what the config does...
When you press F2 in game it will list every NON-DEFAULT bind that the config have added. The images below will show you how the F2-info looked like as of April, 2020.

Installing

new, even easier way

just visit this github page (http://mija.github.io/yuki.cfg/) and click "download zip". inside the zip is everything you need + instructions.

Text explanation

Installing this config works the same as any other and shouldn't prove difficult.
Start with making your way over to the github page for the config, you can find that here:

Now you will want to download the desired files and put them in the right spot!

Necessary:
autoexec cfg[github.com] - You will see a button called "Raw" right-click on it and choose "Save as" to download the file.
This is used to launch the config and verify things loaded correctly.

yuki cfg[github.com] - You will see a button called "Raw" right-click on it and choose "Save as" to download the file.
This is the main config file. Everything except many binds are stored here.

userconfig cfg[github.com] - You will see a button called "Raw" right-click on it and choose "Save as" to download the file.
This contains most binds. Advanced binds are stored in yuki.cfg due to necessity.

keyhelp cfg[github.com] - You will see a button called "Raw" right-click on it and choose "Save as" to download the file.
This is used to display ascii keymap for buybinds.

Save these badboys to your csgo config folder:
Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg

Now right-click on CSGO in your STEAM LIBRARY and choose PROPERTIES.
Click on SET LAUNCH OPTIONS and paste in the following:

-console -tickrate 128 -novid -nojoy -noforcemparms -noforcemspd -noforcemaccel

Start up CSGO. If your console displays the image visible at the top of this guide (in introduction) the config has successfully been loaded. If not write "exec autoexec" in the console and see if the config loads. This should happen automagically in the future on each start of the game.

Extras:
csgo_yuki.txt - this is a custom language file with some swedish jokes plus better visual clarity. not recommended if you do not speak swedish.
dongle.cfg - needed if you want to use the timer for juan deags
lollollol.cfg - needed if you want to use MLG 420 mode where you go wild with inspects after each shot
zeus.cfg - currently broken, is used to visually glitch awps to make it appear they fire lightning
quick.cfg - useful config when testing things on an offline server
quickrcon.cfg - same thing as quick but used when you remote connect to a server (not listen server)
pf55menu.webm - custom main menu background

Suggestion

Open up "yuki.cfg" and search for "preference". Press CTRL+F to open a search field in whatever text-editor you use, or just scroll down to the part called "//preference_commands".

Here you will find things you may want to edit to your liking. Settings such as sensitivity, cl_righthand, etc.

For example if you want to be righthanded change "cl_righthand 0" to "cl_righthand 1".

1080p/1440p xhair versions

There is now 1440p versions of crosshairs enabled by default. You might like these even if you play at 1080p but they may also appear too small. You can easily swap these to 1080p versions by scrolling down in yuki.cfg to the part below "//aim_toggle" Here you will see two versions of each crosshair, one has two // in front of the name, those are 1080p alternatives. To swap to those crosshairs (should be slightly larger) just move the // to the other one.

Example:

Move the // to the above one like so:

To clarify the 1440p versions are slightly smaller than 1080p versions, this is due to 1080p versions appearing uncomfortably large on a 2560x1440 resolution

You can play any sound from the game via the console. Only you will hear these sounds though. You can also currently play any custom sound as well via console (only you hear it) but they have previously patched out both of these things in the past however we've found new ways to do it so it still works.

Is there any specific sounds you want played?

Basically you can play any sound from the gamefiles using playvol.
example:
"playvol ui\item_drop1_common 1"
where "ui\item_drop1_common" is the file name in this case.

For reference the bind that used to be for the c4 sound was "alt+e" but it is now used for the new player ping function.

if you want to keep it on alt+e you can find the line "alias pingAlt" in the yuki.cfg file and change it to this:

//player_ping
alias pingNorm "bind e +aimnade"
alias pingAlt "bind e c4sound"
alias c4sound "playvol c4 0.8;playvol buttons\blip 0.5"

this will change alt+e to be the c4 sound, but you will lose the player ping command if you do it like this.

Sorry, I recently removed that part from the config as very few were using it, but it is easy for you to add it back in!

just add this into your yuki.cfg file:

alias c4bind "bind [key] c4sound"
alias c4sound "playvol c4 0.8;playvol buttons\blip1 0.5"

you can edit the volume by changing the "0.8" to whatever value you want. replace [key] with whatever key you want to bind it to.

when you press the key that file will play, and a little blip to let you know its starting since the file itself is entirely quiet in the start. press the key just as you hear "the bomb has been planted".
