Seraph Bunker Upgrade Order

This is a guide that will show the correct order to upgrade the seraph bunkers, to save on materials & earn as much bits back as possible.

EDZ Bunker Upgrade Order

• 1) Cost Reduction Tier 1: reduces the cost of edz bunker upgrades.
  
  
• 2) Cost Reduction Tier 2: reduces the cost of auto rifle bounties but more importantly unlocks tier 3 cost reduction.
  
  
• 3) Cost Reduction Tier 3: further reduces the cost of edz bunker upgrades.
  
  
• 4) Warmind Bit Generation Tier 1: clearing bunkers now awards warmind bits.
  
  
• 5) Warmind Bit Generation Tier 2: rasputin bounties now award warmind bits.
  
  
• 6) Warmind Bit Generation Tier 3: completing strikes, & gambit or crucible matches has a chance to award bonus warmind bits.
  
  
• 7) EDZ Encrypted Warmind Bits Tier 1: completing challenges awards encrypted warmind bits.
  
  
• 8) EDZ Encrypted Warmind Bits Tier 2: gives seraph chests in the edz a chance to refund spent bits when opened.
  
  
• 9) EDZ Encrypted Warmind Bits Tier 3: allows cheaper use of the edz bunker clearing system.
  
  
• 10) Planetary Material Collection Tier 1: a robot in the edz bunker will now collect dusklight shards for you & store them in a little chest off to the side.
  
  
• 11) Planetary Material Collection Tier 2: increases the capacity of the little robot chest for planetary materials.
  
  
• 12) Planetary Material Collection Tier 3: increased collection rate on dusklight shards.

Moon Bunker Upgrade Order

• 1) Cost Reduction Tier 1: reduces the cost of moon bunker upgrades.
  
  
• 2) Cost Reduction Tier 2: reduces the cost of sidearm bounties but more importantly unlocks tier 3 cost reduction.
  
  
• 3) Cost Reduction Tier 3: further reduces the cost of moon bunker upgrades.
  
  
• 4) Warmind Bit Generation Tier 1: gives legendary lost sectors a chance to award warmind bits.
  
  
• 5) Warmind Bit Generation Tier 2: rasputin daily bounties now award extra warmind bits.
  
  
• 6) Warmind Bit Generation Tier 3: lost sectors, menagerie, forges, nightmare hunts have a chance to award bonus warmind bits.
  
  
• 7) Moon Encrypted Warmind Bits Tier 1: strikes, gambit, crucible and nightmare hunts now award encrypted warmind bits upon completion.
  
  
• 8) Moon Encrypted Warmind Bits Tier 2: gives seraph chests on the moon a chance to refund spent bits when opened.
  
  
• 9) Moon Encrypted Warmind Bits Tier 3: allows cheaper use of the moon bunker clearing system.
  
  
• 10) Planetary Material Collection Tier 1: a robot in the the moon bunker will now collect helium filaments for you & store them in a little chest off to the side.
  
  
• 11) Planetary Material Collection Tier 2: increases the capacity of the little robot chest for planetary materials.
  
  
• 12) Planetary Material Collection Tier 3: increased collection rate on helium filaments.

Io Bunker Upgrade Order

• 1) Cost Reduction Tier 1: reduces the cost of io bunker upgrades.
  
  
• 2) Cost Reduction Tier 2: reduces the cost of hand cannon & machine gun bounties but more importantly unlocks tier 3 cost reduction.
  
  
• 3) Cost Reduction Tier 3: further reduces the cost of io bunker upgrades.
  
  
• 4) Warmind Bit Generation Tier 1: gives seraph tower events on all locations a chance to award extra warmind bits.
  
  
• 5) Warmind Bit Generation Tier 2: rasputin weekly bounties now award extra warmind bits.
  
  
• 6) Warmind Bit Generation Tier 3: reckoning, public events and patrols now have a chance to award bonus warmind bits.
  
  
• 7) IO Encrypted Warmind Bits Tier 1: flashpoint, dungeon, and raid challenges now award encrypted warmind bits upon completion.
  
  
• 8) IO Encrypted Warmind Bits Tier 2: gives seraph chests on io a chance to refund spent bits when opened.
  
  
• 9) IO Encrypted Warmind Bits Tier 3: allows cheaper use of io bunker clearing system.
  
  
• 10) Planetary Material Collection Tier 1: a robot in the io bunker will now collect phaseglass needles for you & store them in a little chest off to the side.
  
  
• 11) Planetary Material Collection Tier 2: increases the capacity of the little robot chest for planetary materials.
  
  
• 12) Planetary Material Collection Tier 3: increased collection rate on phaseglass needles.

NOTE

If you have limited materials, get upgrades 1-6 on each bunker first.
After applying the 12 upgrades to each bunker you can do the rest in whatever order you see fit without worrying about wasting materials etc. & if you're running low on materials at this point, you should be able to just passively earn whatever you need to finish the rest.

Also if you are running out of materials and you are too lazy or impatient to wait for the package, you can buy them with spider for either glimmer or legendary shards

Good guide, and fully agree. One note I would add, is that it is probably a smart move to upgrade the currently active bunker first, unless the week is basically done, and to upgrade the important ones on all bunkers, before doing the others on any of them.This allows you to still get your bonuses from Strikes, Crucible, etc even when the active bunker changes :)
