Russian weapons expansion!

In 1963, the Soviet Army selected the sniper rifle designed by Dragonov to replace the Mosin Nagant sniper rifle, which is called SVD sniper rifle. After further improvement, it began to equip the troops in 1967. The SVDS rifle is a folding type of SVD rifle.

In 1993, two engineers of Izmash company, Victor Kalashnikov and Alexey Dragunov jointly designed a new type of submachine gun called "Bizon".

The design of Vityaz's submachine gun is based on AKS-74U, but in fact, it is to change the "Bison" submachine gun from cartridge to traditional magazine. In mid-2007, the "Vityaz" submachine gun was produced in small quantities in Izimash company and supplied to the Russian Ministry of interior special forces OMON and other law enforcement agencies.

The MP-443 pistol was developed in response to the new pistol test of the Russian Army started in 1993. It was developed by a design team led by Vladimir Yarygin, a firearms designer of the Russian Federation. It was produced by the firearms manufacturer, the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant. It can shoot a variety of 9 × 19mm luge bullets.

ORSIS T-5000 sniper rifle is a manually operated rifle. Its machine adopts the traditional design of double locking shoot. All guns are made of high-grade stainless steel, with two calibre models - standard and remote, each with a right-hand or left-hand version. Each rifle is equipped with a stainless steel match level barrel. The rifling and the surface treatment of the barrel, the chamber part and the inner chamber are all processed by the most advanced numerical control equipment in the country. The barrel is threaded at the muzzle so that the tactical rifle can be equipped with muzzle brake or other muzzle devices.

SV-98 sniper rifle, the Soviet Union / Russian army has been equipped with SVD sniper rifle for many years. Although the gun is light and durable, it is quite effective as a tactical support weapon, but the accuracy of SVD in medium and long distance is poor, and it is not suitable for precise shooting in long distance, and it is not suitable for tasks such as hostage taking. Due to this demand, izimash company designed a kind of rotating rear pull type sniper rifle named SV-98 in 1998. Although SV-98 has been used by Russian law enforcement agencies and special forces in a small amount in that year, it was not formally adopted by the Russian army until the end of 2005 due to the relatively long period of national range test and force trial of Russian military system weapons.

PKP Pecheneg is an improved product on PKM general machine gun. It was developed by TsNIITochMash. It was produced in small batch around 2003 or 2004 and distributed to some Russian troops in Chechnya for field test. Now it is gradually equipped by other troops. GRAU gave it the equipment code 6P41. Compared with PKM, the main improvement of PKP is the new barrel with forced air cooling. The new barrel has longitudinal heat dissipation slot and is wrapped with metal bush. When shooting, the gunpowder gas from the muzzle will produce the shooting effect, making the air in the sleeve flow forward, so as to cool the barrel. It is said that the PKP machine gun can shoot 600 rounds continuously at the actual firing rate of 1,000 rounds per hour, or at the long firing rate of 40-50 rounds, without shortening the barrel life. The life span of all barrels is about 30,000 rounds or more.

RPG-26 is a typical portable anti armour weapon for single soldier, which is improved and designed on the basis of RPG-22. It was equipped in 1986, mainly used to destroy light tanks, self-propelled guns, infantry combat vehicles, armored transport vehicles and field works. The rocket launcher was first exhibited at the 7th defense weapons fair in Athens, Greece, in October 1992, and has begun to be exported.
