RNLI Mersey Class All-weather Lifeboat

The Mersey Class All-weather lifeboat was operated by the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) in the UK from 1988 onwards, built as a smaller aluminium-hulled alternative to the Tyne class to be moved across beaches. It is currently in the process of being replaced by the faster and more capable Shannon Class lifeboats.

To start up:
- Press both "Engine 1" and "Engine 2" top left switches.
- Increase throttle to 1.00
- Control your speed via the clutch (W and S)

  • Max range of 34.5km (17.25km to get back home)

Notes
- The boat likes to tilt the opposite direction after steering to a direction - I am currently working to fix this issue.
- Switching on physical radar does drain battery by a minor amount so be careful.
- Switching to reverse sometimes stalls the engine, simply press the engine buttons again to fix this.

Hey, due to the tilt it can be very hard to get in/out of the wheelhouse through the door.

could you pls move the fluid connector to a better place like in the front of the boat because i have a lot of problem to refuel it( it make the ship really unstable when tou are on it with the diesel cable in you hand)

@jackcreagh2706 I remember also trying to make the tractor a while back to use with my Shannon temporarily, couldn't get the shape right at all, managed to do it this time by sort of hiding the blockyness using those things jutting out the windows and that. :steamhappy:

what are you using for those side rails??
