Description
Finally, a mod of my dream is finally here brought specially for you.
I believe that early versions of Postal 2 had their unique atmosphere and style, as seen in weapons and Postal Dude's look. Now you have a great opportunity to feel it!
Do you want to play with alpha/beta variation of Postal Dude, or play with beta weapons, or both - it's your choice!

POSTAL 2 has turned 20, so it was a cool move to update this mod as well!

Please keep in mind that the goal of this mod is not to make these weapons work as it was in "beta" - you should understand that "beta" is nothing but a period of development and it's not close to release. Making everything work unfinished feels just stupid imo. Like, in beta, grenades has no animations for alt-fire, so that means I should cut alt-firing because of that? NO WAY.
The goal of this mod is to use a beta content and make it polished and worth to be in retail game.


How to:
Click the "Subscribe" button, wait for a while, then run "Postal 2" game.
In main menu, select "New Game" > "Workshop...", open the "Mods section and choose:
"Beta Postal Dude" - to play as Beta Postal Dude
"Alpha Postal Dude" - to play as Alpha Postal Dude
"Beta HUD" - to change HUD icons placements as it was in alpha/beta
"Beta Weapon Replacer" - to replace all weapons on level with beta variations
"Beta Bystanders" - to add some beta-styled bystanders to the population of Paradise, plus to change skins of RWS guys, SWAT, Krotchy (new model), Gary.
Press Start and you're good to go!

Some bugs that i found; Some NPCs (red talinban and zombies) don't die after deagle headshot, thats not a big problem with taliban but zombies are annoying since this makes them immortal. And in friday on the compund there is a rws employe without face texture.

So what's the problem?
I just have a slight problem with the mod, there is very little pistol ammo and it just makes me opt out and use the m16 mostly

would it be hard to just replace the default pistol with the beta 1911 and make a deagle spawn like, literally anywhere else or some other way?
