Snowberry Cottage

Description
A medium-sized player home just off the road south from Winterhold.

Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions friendly, just use the 'Bless Home' spell that comes with that mod. Fully navmeshed so followers should be able to follow you inside.

Keys to the safe and basement are in the Keys storage by the front door inside. There are a couple of notes from the former residents that will lead you to the front door key (hint, take a look just outside Stillborn Cave)

This is my first attempt at modding, so if I've messed something up let me know and I'll try my best to fix it quickly!

Features:
Cooking pot
Hearthfire oven
Themed storage
Bookshelves
Weapon displays (some in main house, more in basement)
Children's bedroom
Blacksmith forge (basement)
Tanning rack (basement)
Grindstone (basement)
Workbench (basement)
Wood chopping block (outside)

DLC required:
Hearthfire

Beautiful design, cool back story, but I can’t live with everything flying off shelves every time I enter. Too bad, really wanted to move my family here, and Winterhold needs quality locations like this one.

@Teriskiss there should be a body named Leiki just outside the cave entrance, should have a key in his inventory. If not, try looking for Darla instead - head left from the house door, before you get back to the road you should see a dead mage with another copy of the key on her. Let me know if you're still having problems

Very nice, very coooool! Cannot wait to see more.

I can't find the front door key. Your short walkthrough didn't help. I searched whole Stilborn Cave (even outside)... Please could you give some help or screenshots?

@RhinoRobb hi again! the floating stuff is a known issue, I'm still trying to figure out a proper fix but you can reset them individually in game. it takes a bit of time though - open the console, click each item and use the recycleactor command, they should snap back to the shelves/boxes. I'll update as soon as I work out what's doing it. the little room off the main bedroom is just a spare bedroom, if you've got a follower or something they might decide to use it :)

question off the main bedroom is a small room for...?

I moved my spouse into it and everything flew off the tables shelves and boxes. Other than that I loved it. looking forward to your next mod.

@UlyssesThePagan sorry to hear you're having trouble with the house. I've tried to recreate the issue, but any spouses I move in seem to stay put fine. have you got any other mods that might be conflicting, and does the same thing happen on any other character?

I love the home, but my wife won't stay. My child stays put not problem. I get the option "move to new home" and the wife arrives and then turns around and goes back to her original location. Any thoughts to fix this?
