Maybe you're already being mind controlled which is why you have such of an urge to go inside. However, since you're not inside, the mind control doesn't have full power of you yet. Thats why you get a choice. You can give in, and go with the story to the beauty of what you would assume is the real world. Or you could go to your saddening turth. The truth revealed that Stanley's life is nothing but a game put into his head for others to watch. The truth that Stanley is truly nothing more than *screen goes black*
