Jackdaw was an originally a Brig, In the introduction to getting her, She is called a brig, and she does get some rough touches from the storm, probably why the rammer is cut smaller and masts are refit. (Every asnwer is in the game, It's quite funny seeing people speculating what class She is when the asnwer is literally in the first misson for getting her

He's only wrong on the one first rate- however, their was only 1 first rate to ever be fresh water only. But yes, many first rates where in salt water.

Umm no... There have been many 'First rate' ship's. Hell, a surviving one is docked just down the road from me - HMS Victory. And it's definitely in saltwater. A 'First rate' ship eventually just came to mean a ship of at least 100 guns - there are plenty of examples of these.

First rate, what do you mean first rate? there was only one first rate ship of the line ever built and it was in freshwater!

"Man-Of-War" isn't a cassificaton for ship, it's just a expression for a powerfull armed vessel. The class of these ships is called "Ship of (the) Line" wich were usually subvertetd in "First-" to "Fourth- Rates", depending on size and armament of the ships.

I believe the Jackdaw class is called Razee https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Razee (aka a cut down frigate) though its still a fantasy ship
