Leonhart on "First CD"(Ultimate weapon for Squall)

It's my way how to get most powerfull gunblade on earlier part of game.

We need some stuff. No, STUFF.

1. Adamantine(x1)
2. Dragon Fang(x4)
3. Pulse Ammo(x12)
Before we can proceed, we must reach 30 level (average level of party(!)). Do it, before you ride in Timber.
I prefer Fastitocalon-F on beach near Balamb. They gives 6 AP. It's also help learn GF's abilites. We need Ifrit's Ammo-RF(can learn @ 10 level) and Quezacotl's Card Mod(learn Card first). Also Diablo's Mug help us to farm (yes, it takes some time) our STUFF, but it's not important.
So, if you reach 30 level and learn that abilites, you can collect STUFF.

Dragon Fang

And now we can get it from T-Rexaur. I do it in Balamb Garden Training Center. Then you get 4 or moar Fangs, we can proseed untill...

Pulse Ammo(Laser Canon)

...until we get Centra(it's in Laguna Dream #2(forest before Gilbadia Garden)). On screen with lo-o-ong stairway we can find Elastoid. With Mug or after battle we can get Laser Canon. 3 Laser Canons will be enough. Make form them 15 Pulse Ammo by Ammo-RF. Now you can little bit relax.

Adamantine

It's simple. Defeat GF Brothers and use Card Mod on Minotaur. You get 10 Adamantine.

Hour of Glory

Now we can go to Deling City and craft Leonhart. It's simpe. Enjoy your POWER.

This guide is actually WRONG and very butchered. You have to be UNDER 30. I just did this guide from a more readable and reliable site. Dragon Fangs can be gotten off of Grendels in the forest near Galbadia Garden. You can TRY and get Laser Cannons from the Elastoid but my luck has never been too great with that. Instead, just play cards. Elnoyles turn into Energy Crystals which turn into Pulse Ammo. (It is completely possible to have Card Mod, and Ammo RF by the time you go to Tomb of the Unknown King). You can use the Brothers card if you so choose but you can also fight for them. But playing cards also allows you to get other cards you may need to get everyone else's weapons as well as items for Quistis's Blue Magic. Ifrit can learn Ammo-RF after it reaches level 10, not after learning Fire-RF.

Instead of farming for the materials, you can get them from Cards, though this takes time is well.

Both are useful methods.

PS: You get 10 not 100 as far as I know (old PC version)
