This guide will help you understand the truckload of DLC on the store page so you can make better informed purchase decisions

Introduction

Hey. so with all the interest in this game and its DLC, I thought I would break down the store page which can be a bit overwhelming in this guide.

Disclaimer: Prices are based on the standard pricing in the respective regions and does not account for sales. Prices Correct as of 25/04/2020

Game Versions

There are 3 versions of Dead or Alive 6:

1. Core Fighters
   
2. Standard Edition
   
3. Deluxe Edition

Core Fighters

This is the Free to Play version of the game which anyone can download and play. In it you get access to the following:

• DoA Quest
  
• Fighting modes (Vs. CPU/Player, Time Attack, Survival, Arcade)
  
• Tutorial modes (Game tutorial, Combo Challenge, Command Training, Practice Mode)
  
• Online Modes (Lobby Match, Ranked Match)

The only restrictions are:

• No access to Story Mode*
  
• Limited to 4 Characters (Kasumi, Hitomi, Bass Diego)**

*Story Mode key can be purchased separately (A Introductory chapter is available in the F2P version)
**You can test other characters in DoA Quest mode or their Character Specific tutorials in the Practice section

NB: This version of the game is for people that just want to jump in and play. If you like any Specific Character not included in the F2P version, they can be purchased separately for a small fee. With them unlocked you can start unlocking costumes for them and play them in any other mode.

Standard Edition

In Standard Edition you get access to all of the above with addition to:

• Story Mode
  
• Full Access to Base Roster Characters (for a total of 24 characters (including those in Core Fighters)

Recommended Purchase Pathways

This section of the guide deals with the different possible purchase pathways on the store.

Basic

This is for those that just want to try out the game. For this I would recommend just installing Core Fighters which is available to Download for free by clicking here[http//steam].
Once you get a feel for a character in the practice section, if they aren't a part of the 4 free characters you can just purchase them and nothing else.
