Introduction
For our first foray into Canada, we get a fairly sprawling route. Granted, not as sprawling as it could be, but this does make collectables slightly easier to locate since they aren't quite as spread out as they might otherwise be. This time, we are back up to 100 to find, with 4 different types to consider.

These jobs are a bit of everywhere on the line, even in places which the scenarios and services don't visit, so there's plenty to see!

The one thing that makes the jobs a bit predictable is that they tend to be clustered around locations of note, like the stations, and there aren't too many out in the middle of nowhere.

Here from XBOX or PS4? Collectables are exactly the same on PC or console, feel free to share this guide to anyone on consoles!
The Jobs
Route Maps

It appears that any route with a single passenger station is bound to get route maps! Even though this route features no passenger trains (it really should though) the real line is quite the passenger corridor

Experienced collectors will spot these easily. Blank rectangular boards at station platforms are maps. Walk up to them, and a map of the featured route is applied.

Now, the number of these is where the route's freighty-ness sneaks in. There are only 5. Even though there are 6 stations.

Broken Lights

Broken lights are quickly becoming one of the more common jobs. This is the third route they have appeared on!

Spotting these isn't as simple as some other collectables. You have to look for a light with a cracked cover, on a wall, usually fairly high up. They are everywhere too. Luckily, at night, they flicker on and off, making it a bit easier to spot one.
Uncollected
Collected
These busted lights are fairly common. There's 35 to fix, and they really are just about everywhere.

Safety Posters

This safety poster is seeing its first comeback since CSX Heavy Haul. The reference to CSX has been removed, but it's still the same thing.

Look for plain white squares mounted on various walls. That's a poster. Walk up to it to apply that 'safety first' graphic.
Uncollected
Collected
These are the single most common job to complete. With the uneven distribution of jobs, there are a whole 40 of them in total, spread out everywhere except stations.

Decontamination Showers

This route's one new job is the decontamination shower, which is somewhat appropriate given the whole (undue) focus on ethanol loading.

These aren't so easy to notice. Look for four concrete poles sticking out of a concrete pad. That's a decontamination shower. Walk up to it and it'll transform into a complete shower.

There aren't quite as many of these, as they are generally limited to the industrial sidings, so there are just 20 on the route.
#01 Royal Windsor Drive
As usual, we will follow the mileposts, starting as close to 0 as we can, then moving up the numbers from there. That means starting all the way up at the Ford assembly plant, which DTG has decided to call Royal Windsor Drive...a street which runs just next to the railroad tracks. Ok then...

#09 Grimsby Subdivision
This route may be Oakville Subdivision, but the Hamilton area is actually part of the Grimsby Subdivision (which goes down to Niagara Falls). I'm going to go into the harbor area later, and keep on the mainline for now.

#10 Strathearne Avenue
Again with the naming things after roads! This one's actually Parkdale Yard, if you ignore DTG's unusual naming.

#11 Hobson Street
Strange names continue, this one's actually for all the stuff in Industrial Sector F.

And finally, the only bit of dockyard actually featured on the entire route. The one and only Industrial Sector A.

Whew, another route down! As usual, I hope this was helpful, and if it was, do take the time to give an upvote. It helps more people see the guide, and maybe it'll be exactly what they were looking for!

These collectables aren't all that easy, so anyone can miss some when trying to find them on their own, and we wouldn't want to leave any aspiring achievement hunters behind.

The sidings for the items from the pictures 7-9 in Appleby aren't the map in TSW 2 if anyone wonders too like me. You can only see them from the train.

Has anyone taken the time to decode the Morse code of the "broken" lights?
LeadCatcher Nov 23, 2020 @ 11:35am
Just a quick inquiry to see if anyone else is having a problem completing the collectables in TSW2 - I have followed the guide step by step TWICE and have counted the safety posters found and have found 40 == rechecked and counted FORTY but yet is states I have only found 39 out of 40. This is the second route I have run into the same problem where I have confirmed by following the guides and keeping count that I have "found" all the items yet it says I am missing one item.

If anyone else has experienced this let me know - I have submitted a ticket on the London underground Bakerloo -where i have twice counted 20 cameras but yet it states I have only found 19 of the 20. Again followed the guide to a "T" and kept count the 2nd time through.

Many thanks for another excellent guide!

Not really, no. I wish the game would give a general idea of where jobs are, but it only gives you the number. Basically means you'll have to look everywhere on the entire route just to find the last few you don't have.

I missed 1 poster and 1 light is there any quick way of finding which ones in which area?

An excellent guide once again :)

The one at #04 Appleby that is noted as 'looks broken' displays correctly for me.
