Iron Banner - Season 9 - Unlocking

What to do to complete the Iron Banner quests and for unlocking the weapons and armors in season 9 - Season of Dawn.

.::Step By Step - Guide [English]

There are 6 easy quest steps to do and you need to complete them all in Iron Banner matches.

⠀⠀⠀⠀Destinations: Crucible → Iron Banner

You keep your progress from match to match. :)

Step 1: Light the Fires

Talk to Saladin in the Tower and take the first quest.

[_] Capture 10 Iron Banner zones
[_] Kill 30 enemy Guardians
[_] Get 3 kills with your Super

Step 2: Iron Sights

[_] Complete 6 Iron Banner matches
[_] Capture 20 Iron Banner Zones
[_] Kill 25 Guardians with scout rifles

Step 3: Pump Iron

Kill 100 Guardians
Capture 30 Iron Banner zones
Kill 20 Guardians with a shotgun

Step 4: Death Metal

[_] Defeat 15 enemies with Super kills
[_] Capture 40 Iron Banner zones
[_] Kill 15 Guardians with hand cannons (not pistols!)

Step 5: Iron Rain

[_] Complete 15 matches
[_] Capture 50 Iron Banner zones
[_] Defeat 10 Guardians with rocket launchers

Step 6: Iron Cast

You’re done with Iron Banner for now. Return to Lord Saladin for your final reward. Congratulations, now you can turn in all of those Iron Banner tokens you earned for even more loot.

yea I think it was done with by bungo, when I read a guide my stress levels immediately increased just thinking about that task. And I can positively say I have not had 10 rocket kills prior, possibly not even a single one. the shotgun part is alright, a bit tedious if you never shotgun aped before

If the Rocket Launcher part of the quest is skipped, it's because Bungo decided everyone going after heavy ammo making the quest difficult to progress(/finish) and simply disabled it. I'm assuming it could come back but with another weapon.
(The quest step is not wrong, data-wise that's literally what the quest wants, it's just that the game auto-completes it for you so you won't have to chase heavy ammo for a thousand matches.)

@The_Nibbestl: I am not sure why that is. But 2 of my 3 characters didn't have the quest either. Maybe the counter also counts the previous rocket launcher kills.

Supposedly there are people who play for fun and don't want to spend hours running around with normal shotguns who only have 2 shots after each respawn. So while you try to subdue the game, please let other people finish the quest quickly. Thanks. So cute of you. <3

for some reason, I never had to do the last part, especially not having to get 10 Rocket kills.

May as well use LoW before people put it in the dumpster right? I mean, it's not like you can run around without having Release the Wolves active and still do great.
