Firefly Adventures: Brigands and Browncoats (incl. Expansions)

Description
Pull off a big score with the crew of the Serenity!

Firefly Adventures is a cooperative game for 1-5 players, working together to thwart local goons and get the Job done. Will you use your wits to maneuver your way to success? Or will your trusty sidearm open the doors standing in your way?

Equip your Crew with a variety of Guns, Gadgets, and Gear!

Create a variety of scenarios with pre-built, three-dimensional buildings and double-sided map tiles!

ACT CASUAL OR HEROIC: Crew members can try to keep it quiet or go in like Big Damn Heroes. Double-sided Crew Cards let you choose how you're acting. Each side of the Card shows different actions you can take. Includes both a Casual and Heroic miniature for each Crew Member!

- Respectable Folk Expansion -

Not everyone can be judged by the company they keep. Some pursue respectable work while in the company of scoundrels. A companion in good standing with the guild, Inara Serra is a welcome sight on any plant. Shepherd Book is a wandering preacher who has fallen in with a Crew who needs tending.

This Firefly Adventures Crew Expansion Set includes two new playable crew members, three new Jobs and 10 new equipment cards. All cards can be used along with the crew from the Firefly Adventures core set.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- Wanted Fugitives Expansion -

Skill physician Simon Tam walked away from a life of ease and privilege to rescue his gifted sister, River, from a top-secret Alliance Research Program. Now the Tams top the Alliance's Most Wanted List and find themselves hounded by bounty hunters, chased by the law, and unwelcome in the civilized corners of the 'Verse.

This Firefly Adventures Crew Expansion Set includes two new playable crew members, three new Jobs and 10 new equipment cards. All cards can be used along with the crew from the Firefly Adventures core set.

Designed by GaleForce nine. Based on the 20th Century Fox Film Corporation Firefly TV Series.

*NOTE* - I own the actual game IRL but I wanted an excuse to try my hand at using Blender (3D models and meshes) and TTS to their fullest from a creator perspective so I decided to pull out my camera and my scanner and recreate the game digitally. As time began to tally up I did stop my 3D modeling right before making all the miniatures unfortunately so you will have to deal with figurines until I can find them online or someone volunteers to add them to the project because I simply don't have the time nor the skill at the moment to make that happen.

Firefly Adventures is a fun RPG turn-based game where time is a resource and you work together against the game to complete a Job. Each Job has a small illustration on how to set up the board with Map tiles, 3D buildings, as well as other tokens and of course enemy NPCs. I created player stations where each player can run their Crew Member as they complete a Job. There are also variant rules about stringing Jobs together in a campaign mode as well as having another player run the enemy NPCs like a DM would do rather than following their basic movement and attack action mechanics. The rulebook is a PDF right at your player station on a virtual iPad so read up and let me know what you think after you have completed your first Job!

If the rules don't load correctly please enter this URL into the virtual iPads:

The custom boards aren't loading correctly nor is the background.

Some graphical assets didn't get loaded... or is it my setup that's faulty?

@ntscjax - There is a bag on the top left corner of the table called Brigands and Browncoats. Inside that bag there two bags that have the floor tiles that weren't used in the setup for the Goose Juggling Mission as well as the other buildings (building 2 and building 4).

Hello, I can't find buildings 2 or 4, are they hidden in a bag within a bag?

I sent you a message with a sample lua script two weeks ago that moves entities on the board, did it help? Haven't heard a word from you since then...

The building boxes themselves are simply at a level that is "good enough" but the physical components of the game you can't safely breakdown and put back together so they are just pictures taken using my iPhone and added to a UV map of a box made in Blender. Really this is a poor man's attempt at recreating the game digitally for TTS.

@AnubizRa I have not figured that out yet. I am working on a scripted version of the game. I am also considering keeping this version as is and simply uploading each scenario to Steam as its own independent game... If you'd like to help with the scripting honestly this is my first go at making a Steam game that isn't simply scanning cards so when it comes to the miniatures I have NO CLUE when or how to even approach that but the scripting seems somewhat manageable.

@golfan88 I read your first comment about the multiple scenarios and loading via LUA. Have you figure out how to accomplish this at the moment? Or is there anyway to load the different scenarios at the moment?

@Noelle I would love to but I don't have the time or tools to do that... If you know of anyone that can, I would be happy to get in touch with them so we can add the models to the game. There are a total of 28 unique miniatures across the core game and both expansions.

I meant the actual miniatures that would be a plus it is after all a miniature game
