Vending Machines 2.0

Have all kinds of vending machines around your prison to settle the needs for prisoners and staff members. Building a Shop might be obsolete when using this mod.


Place some Vending Storage Racks in a Vending Storage room to store the products for the vending machines. It will act as supply buffer, so you have everything in stock when refills are needed. The Vending Storage room is also used to store staff meals and kitchen ingredients.

Next, place some vending machines around the prison.
They can be used in the Canteen, Common Room, Nursery, Yard, Storage, Armoury, Staff Canteen, Staff Room, Security, Office and Kennel.

Hire a Vending Manager to take care of refillings and repairing the Vending Machines.


= BURGERS =

• Daily made fresh delivered burgers.
• For StaffFood / StaffComfort, or Food / Luxuries.

= COFFEE =

• Delivers fresh hot coffee to anyone who likes it.
• For StaffComfort / StaffWarmth / StaffRest, or Comfort / Warmth.
• Will raise StaffBladder, or Bladder.

= FRUIT =

• Fresh, healthy hand-picked fruit for extra vitamines.
• For StaffComfort / StaffFood, or Luxuries / Food.

= LOTTERY =

• Sells Lottery Tickets.

= MEDICINE =

• Provides medicine for prisoners with Drugs / Alcohol addiction.
• Place it at Infirmary.

= NEWS =

• Daily newspapers with bad news and comics.
• Settles StaffRest / StaffRecreation / StaffComfort, or Literacy / Recreation.

= ORANGE JUICE =

• Sells Orange Juice made from Orange Trees growing in your prison.
• Settles StaffComfort, or Luxuries / Alcohol (it contains some Vodka).
• Will raise StaffBladder or Bladder.

= PRISONER UNIFORMS =

• Washed and ironed clothes for your prisoners.
• Settles Clothing / Comfort.

= SANDWICH =

• Daily made fresh delivered sandwiches with yuk in between.
• Settles StaffFood / StaffComfort, or Food / Luxuries.

= SHOP =

• Sells porn magazines, chocolate and shampoo to prisoners only.
• Settles Luxuries.

= SNACK =

• Unhealthy fat snacks for those who can't resist.
• Settles StaffComfort / StaffFood, or Luxuries / Food.

= SOUP =

• A cup of warm instant soup with Pie, Tomato or Potato flavour.
• Settles StaffComfort / StaffWarmth / StaffRest, or Warmth.
• Raises StaffBladder, or Bladder.

= WATER =

• Cold bottled water for the thirsty throats.
• Settles StaffComfort, or Luxuries / Food. Will raise StaffBladder, or Bladder.

= WATER COOLER =

• Cold water from a reservoir, served in a paper cup.
• Settles StaffComfort, or Food. Raises StaffBladder, or Bladder.

= WATER FOUNTAIN =

• Cold water from a little fountain.
• Does not require to be refilled with stock.
• Settles StaffComfort, or Food. Will raise StaffBladder, or Bladder.

= VENDING STORAGE RACK =

• Can be placed in Vending Storage room, Laundry and Lottery Vault.
• Stores vending items, Ingredients and Staff Meals.

= ORANGE JUICER =

• Can be placed in Kitchen or Vending Storage room.
• Produces Orange Juice for juice tables and required Oranges from Orange Trees.

= APPLE / CHERRY / ORANGE TREE =

• Grows fruit in various stages.
• Apples and Cherries go to Exports, while the Oranges go to the juicer.

= LOTTERY SAFE =

• Place it in the Yard so prisoners can stare and daydream about winning the Lottery.
• Has some more settings when you play a map with Cheats/Devtools enabled.

= MONEY SAFE =

• Used in a Lottery Vault room to store incoming stakes from the vending machines.
• These Lottery Stakes are then moved to the big secure Lottery Safe.

= SMALL TABLE / BENCH =

• Can be placed in Canteen, Common Room, Kitchen, Laundry, Nursery, Staff Rooms, Yard.

= AIR CONDITIONER =

• Will spawn 3 windows beneath it when turned on, to let air come in from outside or to level the temperature with an adjacent room.
• Requires to be wired with a DoorTimer spawned beneath the AC.
• Specify active hours on the timer to activate/deactivate the Airco.
• You can find the Air Conditioner in the Utility menu.

= VENDING STORAGE =

• Requires a Vending Storage Rack and Air-Conditioner.
• Stores many vending items, Ingredients and Staff Meals.

= LOTTERY VAULT =

• Requires a Vending Storage Rack to store Lottery Tickets.
• Requires a couple of Money Safes, for temporary storage of Lottery Stakes.

= KITCHEN =

• Can have Table or Small Table to store ingredients.
• Can have Orange Juicer to produce juice for vending.

= LAUNDRY =

• Can have Vending Storage Rack, Table or Small Table to store vending uniforms.

= SHOWER =

• Can have Prisoner Uniforms vending machine.

= VENDING MANAGER=

• Some like it hot, some like it cold. Give this dude a big Vending Storage room where he takes care of refilling your Vending Machines. He will also repair them, and even tend your Apple, Cherry and Orange Trees.

• All items require Vending Machines research, done by the Warden.

• This mod is an updated version of my Vending Machines mod, and now also includes the Prison Lottery mod. You should disable / unsubscribe from both of these mods if you want to use this mod. They should not be used together.
