Airship Aristarchus

CONCEPT:

Unlike the other airships that has been built, this design optimized its combat function. The previous airships that has been built are merely to beautify the scenery. Unlike the quad-airship, Sunpath, this acts more like a destroyer than a bomber. In combat, bombers are preferred to be airplanes. Now first of all, in the past airships were used in combats, and they were actually meant to be sky forts, or sky battleships, and not just flying platforms with machine guns. But because of the limitations of technology at the time, that does not happen. It did happen when airships were used by civilians to be sky cruise ships, or sky liners.

Since airships used by civilians to substitute cruise ships and ocean liners, with their similar facilities, such as restaurants, bars, and a plaza, would be make sense, if war airships then was made to substitute ocean warships. In this case destroyers, corvettes, cruisers and even battleships. In this case, the Aristarchus was made to act like an airborne destroyer, with the same purpose of the ones at sea. The birth of the Aristarchus class has made air battles looks more like sea battles.

BUILDING TECHNIQUES:

After experimenting with building advanced naval ships, it is safe to build weaponized airships. It work the same way as naval ships do. The only differences are airships goes airborne, while naval ships do not. The same method of ships are built, first, get the weapons working, then fill in the airbags.
