The Scarif System (Star Wars Cannon)

The Scarif System was a star system located In the Abrion Sector of the Outer Rim of the galaxy. The only planet In the system "Scarif" was a tropical planet, with a string of volcanic islands stringing across Its entire surface. The planet was used for Imperial Death Trooper training, and exports for the Death Star. A Planetary Shield envelops the whole planet, making escape impossible. An orbital station also manufactures weapons and supplie crates which are then transported to the Death Star. In 0 ABY, an assault on the planet was made by the Rebellion, to steal the plans to the Death Star. This marked the Galactic Civil War era. The planet was destroyed by the Death Star, and all lifeforms would vanish. The battle resulted In a New Republic victory.
