The locomotive 'Saxonia' of the Leipzig-Dresdner Eisenbahn-Compagnie (LDE) was the first successful steam locomotive built in Germany. The engine however was not of Stephenson origin.

Apologies for the German.

This is my FIRST non UK mod, and should really have been released in February with the rest of the stuff I got coming up but it just doesn't fit because of its not British-ness.

Decent starter loco, underpowered but nippy.

Can we have an additional availability period? They built a replica between 1985 and 1989 with only slight modifications (due to safety regulations). see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saxonia_(locomotive)#Replica_locomotive
