Follow this:
Open Explorer and go to this folder --> C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment\ACE COMBAT 7\Config --> open file Input.ini --> under this

copy paste my config instead the empty one (The button numbers are the ones on the Joystick itself. You can change that if you want).

You can use the game menu with Keyboard or with POV and Button 2 to confirm. Button9 for skip cutscene.

Here is the best option...and it took some serious mining to find it...

It's legit...I was super disappointed yesterday when i plugged in and started seeing how it wasnt supported thru logitec seemingly... so I looked for work arounds besides generic controls.... This link walks you thru with eloquence and ease.. Basically you get the link to the .exe to install the version of the 3d extreme pro software, you do a little pre-install right click and backwards compatibility install wizardry and kaboom.... your good with the actual drivers and software with out work arounds.

@madkingdom it should create a seperate profile in the .ini for each device. I moved throttle from slider1 on the joystick to Y (as in Y axis) on my throttle

Does anybody know how to get the extreme 3d pro working for ac7 in win11? i had no problem installing it when i had win 10 but there is no ini file that i can find and when i go into steam through file explorer all i find is config.vdf. when i copy and paste the files for it it reads it as a txt so i changed it to a vdf file but no joy, any help would be greatly appreciated,
