Gifts Of The Nile - VERY LEGITIMATE DEITY VICTORY!

This guide will tell you how to beat the Gifts Of The Nile scenario on any difficulty, as Egypt!

1. Firstly if you want to get the achievement, you should play on Deity difficulty. This strategy worked for me on Deity as well as Settler!

2. Once you boot up the game, START BUILDING GALLEYS. Forget your gold, settling or anything really. Just build a million galleys!

3. While you're building, send them down the Nile River until you find Nubia. You cannot declare war immediately as the scenario only allows war at 20 turns in.

Now around this time, as this is a domination victory we are going for, you might be scared as another AI will appear at around this time - however don't pay attention to them, as they are completely unimportant!

4. Now once 20 turns have passed and you have 6-8 galleys near Nubia, DECLARE WAR. It will take you a few turns to move the galleys to the cities but since they cannot fire upon you, it is completely fine! For both Nubia's capital and the other city they make, you should have two main galleys attacking both cities (in total four) and one or two backup galleys.

5.Now the hard part is over and you can just hit the Nubian cities until they have low HP and then conquer them! You actually need to conquer both cities as for me it didn't work when I only took one.

Congratulations! You have just earned your totally legitimate not cheesed at all Gifts Of The Nile Deity victory! Enjoy that achievement of yours before others find this guide!

This doesn't work for my on Deity. They already had 1 archer at turn 20. Spawned even more archers as I capture the first city. Then all the Galleys get killed.

I tried this for the first time, and conquered both cities, but it did not credit me with victory. I sent noticed at the edge of the screen that there was possibly another city. I checked and a third city had appeared. Since I had nine galleys and only had lost a couple I tried to take it as well. Any ideas, or did a recent re-balance make this obsolete? Would someone test this. I don't think I have every actually won a scenario, so I'm not really an expert.
