Flare Guns; What to do and what NOT to do

This Guides covers the secrets of Flare Guns. And what to do, and what NOT to do with flare guns.

Step 1: Find a Flare Gun!

Step 2: Shoot the bloody Flare Gun into the air in an OPEN AREA!

Step 3: Await for Supply Drop

Step 4: DON'T SHOOT THE PILOT AND RUIN THE DROP!

Remember to get everything in it first.




The Flare Gun can only be used 3-4 times (I am not really sure) for Supply Drops. Or until Wave 6?

Step 5: DO NOT SHOOT ZOMBIES WITH IT!

Shooting at zombies will cause them to ignite, and become runners, and you wasted a valueable Flare round.

Step 6: Shower me with praise and worship me as a dude that randomly found out this treat

Not all zombies actually become runners if ignited (I get the last part was meant to be a joke but just to clarify) If I shot a flare into a group of 6 zombies then 2 or 3 will most likely become runners. It's good for dealing with large groups but there are other better uses.

Plus theres an achievement for getting kills with the Flare Gun.

I use it to kill zomies. Its actually extremly effective at taking out multiple zombies. Its like a shotgun gun but with the range of a sniper and the accuracy of a pistol. Now granted, there are runners, but I can easily out manouver them. All in all, its my signature specialty weapon.

huh i find that using a flare gun to kill zombies is verry good, you shoot 6 at once, then hit each of them twice. Job done... (bet verry helpfull guide)
