CS:GO's "Grenades"

This guide is a simplified explanation of how grenades in CS:GO work for even the newest of players :)

The Smokeius Grendaius

A smoke grenade is a canister-type smoking device. It costs US$40 ( but for some reason they've bumped it up to 300 in game) and makes lots of smoke when it's open. Now that we understand where the smoke grenade comes from let's learn how to use it.

These are only effective on mirage a site. If you find yourself in possesion of one outside of these circumstances don't throw it whatever you do YOU COULD DIE WHILE THROWING IT!!! If you do find a safe spot to throw from great (who am I kidding your never safe in the wild). Don't bother with a lineup, they're too complicated and take up way too much brain space that is needed for aiming the awp you're gonna buy after half ecoing 4 rounds.

If you're new to the game (which you must be if you're reading this ♥♥♥♥) smoke grenades can help to block line of site so to prevent a push, gain some ground or perhaps smoke off the bomb but who would do that when you can gain some clout by just headshotting the dude. Here are the only situations you should be using a smoke :

1. Ninja defuse with no kit after the music starts playing

2. To instantly run through it because that's what Stewie2k did once in 2016.

3. To hide in and bait your teammates so you can get 2 kills in a 4v1, topfrag and complain about bad teammates and being stuck at your rank.

In conclusion, this grenade is pretty much a scam. Don't buy it unless you have to and if one of your teammates asks you to use one just don't com and go for the awp shot instead.

Le Bangflash

Is your teammate doing a good job of killing the enemy and you wanna take him down a peg? Do you like really bright white screens? Say no more! The flashbang is here to help.

The flashbang can be bought for the low low price of $200 and can very easily ruin games, days and even lives. If you're in matchmaking you're gonna die with all your grenades anyway but it sure does look cool to have that 2x icon on your screen.

Make sure to always prime the flashbang and wait before throwing, this makes the bang louder. If you're ready aim really high and THROW ( The higher it goes the more they have to look away, trust me I saw it in a major) Obviously if your priming your flashbang you can't hold down your talk key at the same time so when your teammate gets blind and starts crying like a beta male you let him know what's what by throwing another (there's a reason you can buy two ya know)

Pro tip : The more times a flashbang bounces the brighter it shines, enemies will also be obligated to look in the direction of the bouncing flashbang thanks to the questionable info that their teammates will give them "IT'S SHORT". Alpha male tip : You can buy up to 80 flashbangs in the warmup. It's called warmup for a reason folks, give 'em hell (and yes team flashes do count as warming up).

In conclusion I don't find this grenade very fun because you can't hit awp shots with it.

A HE grenade is an explosive weapon typically thrown by hand, but can also refer to projectiles shot out of grenade launchers. Unfortunately valve hasn't added grenade launchers yet, but don't worry they will soon. They have it in all their other games.

For now we'll just have to throw them but tbh that's no fun because they don't do 100 damage so you can't even get a kill with them without having an assist and assists just don't look as cool in the killfeed. Imagine how good they'd be with wallhack! But I don't hack I'm just saying.

Really I just buy one of these to have one of each grenade and so my teammates don't call me out on all the money I'm stockpiling for an autosniper. (pro tip NEVER drop, just pretend you didn't hear them when they ask and then if they call you out on it just hold down your mic and say nothing so it sounds like your mic is broken(and also steal as many weapons as your can especially AWPS)(pro pro tip once it's in your hands it's yours no givesy backsies your teammates should know this if they don't give them ♥♥♥♥ for not knowing this))

Ok woah woah woah hold on kiddo that's a lot of information your asking for. First off he should NEVER tk you. You always want to be ready for tks more than you are for the enemy killing you. If you think a "teammate" doesn't dig your "playstyle" then that needs to be dealt with immediately. First off try and get your teammates on your side, tell them you are global on your main that'll do the trick. If they ask for a link to your profile just send 'em to me I have experience in this field. After you've got the rest of the guys on your side ask for a timeout and call a votekick on your so called "teammate". Don't worry about losing the game that 's bullshit anyway. Just send an e-mail to valve with a really whiny tone, I find that helps in life in general.
