DWISS Eyewear - Glasses and Spectacles enchanted version

Description
Description

This mod adds 4 pairs of glasses to the game. There are 2 Versions available so far - one is enchanted like the Krosis Dragon Priest Mask, the other is unenchanted. I am rejoining the two files for the time being - so the next update of this one here will contain both then.

- The glasses/spectacles are craftable at the Tanning rack. They have their complete own category named 'DWISS Eyewear' regardless of base material

- The glasses/spectacles can be upgraded at the Working Table when you have the glass perk

Naming convention is simple- modern eyewear is called glasses - the lore friendly versions are called spectacles. I added new pictures for the lore friendly versions - more to follow.

Additional Info

These will be the base models for now - i will polish everything from now on first (like going from loose files to BSA packed downloads) and work on the immersive part a bit as well. Looked at the leveled lists and liked the idea a lot - so there is something to look forward to. All those poor magicians and librarians really need some eyewear soon!

Known incompatibilities:
- back worn lantern from 'wearable lanterns'
- one of the pouches from 'DrBandolier' mod

Both these mods use the face body slot to add their item to the character at the back right belt position. This means if you equip the lantern or a pouch on the back right side your glasses will be unequipped and vice versa.
I personally don't consider this incompatible from this mods point of view as this body slot is a face slot - not a belt slot

To do list:

(this isn't fixed and might change along the way or depending on your input):

introduce more immersive models
introduce immersive materials
leveled lists will be available with the planned framework
handle immersive effect on enchanting and alchemy and other craft works aka framework
shaded versions (as in sunglasses)

Usage Rights/Permissions: Any use of my assets must be accompanied by visible credits in the resulting work and a link back to the mod the assets were taken from. Any reupload on other sites is forbidden.

Personal edits are always OK and encourageable. If you edit because you think there is a bug feedback to the author is highly appreciated. Distributing said edits must be in compliance with the following.

I DO permit using the skin textures and morph sets for following types of purposes as long as i am credited visibly:

-Follower mods
-NPC mods and replacers
-New game content such as quests and stories
-Clearly derivative work using the morphs as a base for building something new
-Practice and self-education, privately

I do NOT permit using these assets for the following types of releases:

-Redistribution on other sites
-Distributing as your own work
-Packaging into clearly competing mods (so called mashups included)
-Alteration into something that drastically clashes with the original thematics and intent of my work

If your mod does not clearly fit into these cases, you can PM me for clarification.

Is there any chance you could permit this mod to be ported to SSE and posted on NexusMods for the sake of it being ported? Even if you didn't do it yourself? :)

Thank you for putting this on Steam. I was trying to join the TES Alliance website to get this mod, and it's a nightmare. They kept questions about Oblivion as part of their anti-bot security, but I have never played that game. After finally getting a question where the answer could be found on Google, the verifcation never sent. Even hours later, still don't see it.

please... dont call it lore friendly. none of this is lore friendly, simply calling them spectacles wont work. please, if you can, reword it so you dont mislead people
thank you

This is awesome! I love using this! Would it be possible to make them available for the Khajiit as well? Or will that interfere with Night Eye lol!
