How to care for your Snark!
By Ronnie1001
Snarks are very cute and intriguing creatures, but they are also very delicate and sensitive (Not to mention they can be VERY aggressive and territorial.), this guide will serve as a tutorial on how you can care for your very own snark!
(Leave suggestions for the guide or other guides in the comments!)

WARNING: We here at [INSERT COMPANY NAME HERE] are NOT responsible for any loss of your extremities, including, but not limited to: fingers, toes, eyes, noses, or anything else that can be bit off, remember, always wear your protective gear!

(Please be advised that this guide should not be considered canon in any way, and is just written for fun, thanks to everyone that has supported it!)

Where do snarks come from?
We do not know exactly what dimension that snarks originate from, but most likely a dimension that contains a planet in which the atmosphere was rich in oxygen, due to their size and the fact that they are arthropods.
Snarks only began appearing on earth after an experiment gone wrong, flooding in from a dimension known as Xen, also, before we carry on, it should also be noted that Xen is NOT where snarks come from, as nothing is native to Xen, it is simply a "Border world" that connects dimensions together. Sadly, Xen does not collide with our own dimension in a traditional way, so expeditions to it must be preformed in a rather convoluted way using crystals taken from Xen.
You may be wondering how we got these crystals, and you don't need to know!

Snarks are found in makeshift "nests", commonly created out of the internals of their prey, where they live in colonies, we do not know much about how snarks work, as the nest is extremely sensitive and fragile, breaking on contact most of the time. their breeding, reproduction, growth stages, and anything else inside of the nest remains unknown.

The nest appears to only be formed after a specific amount of time, as the snarks consume the rest of their prey and leave only this "Nest" afterwards for their children to sustain on as they grow and gestate.

Pictured below is one of the aforementioned Snark "Gore Nests", this specific specimen appears to be made out of the stomach, ribcage, and intestines of a human.
Overview of a Snark's biology
Snarks appear to be basic arthropods not too dissimilar to our very own here on earth.

A high quality render made by one of our research associates scanning a live specimen, this render obviously lacks the glowing eye that they naturally have for image clarity.
How to handle your snark
Look at those cute eyes... erm... eye. snarks are very cute creatures, and they can be even better pets, if you know how to keep them happy. First of all, we should cover that snarks are very weak and fragile, so be mindful not to step on them. if you wish to handle them, and it's your first time, we here at CFC recommend you wear protective equipment, so make sure any protective equipment you're wearing is firmly secured and comfortably fitting. Now, you may be asking, why on earth do I need state of the art protective equipment for my first time handling of such a cute critter? well, snarks tend to bite, and it is not known yet if they have the capability of transferring diseases, so, caution must be taken. Once the prep is complete, firmly grasp your snark, but not too hard, because remember, they are very fragile.
NOTE: you should only try to hold your snark without protective equipment when you're sure that it trusts you and will not randomly lash out at you.
The adequate handling position should look something like this.
(Add image later dummy.)
How to feed your snark
Snarks require a steady flow of food and nutrients, if you change the schedule or variey the ammount of food you give your snark it can stress them out, so keep a steady schedule. You should feed your snark a varity of fruits and veggies, as those have all the nutriunts and proteins required for snark growth. if you wish to feed your snark a direct mix of fruits and veggies, you can purchase SNARK FOOD MIX TM, and add half a cup to the bowl every day in the morning. Snarks can also eat NEARLY everything humans can, snarks enjoy treats such as cheese and cookies, but again, these dont have the neccisary nutriunts for proper snark growth, so you can use them and snacks. To feed your snark, you must first hand feed them, with gloves or other protective hand wear, as to keep your hands free of cuts and stratches. If you dont hand feed them at first they will not be used to you, and will be much more skittish, after this you can simply put the food into a bowl.

Habitat for your snark!
Where and how do i keep my snark?
1. An easy habitat for your snark is to put it in a jar. This isn't reccomended as it is very small, and the snark wont grow, but its a way. Make sure to add some Xen soil and maybe some flora in order for your Snark to feel like home. Don't forget airholes in the cap and to feed you can just sprinkle some food in the airholes for him to find in his jar.
Snark Activity (Images included!)
Listed below are some common activities that your Snark will preform when released, remember, do not let them get agitated or angered as they will then combust.

Pictured Below is a rather pleasantly plump Snark having trouble getting up.
Fate of the snarks after the "Seven Hour War"
Sadly, however, snark population in their dimension, not including their border world, Xen, which spans several dimensions (sadly not ours), dwindled severally after the alien super military known as the "combine" invaded their earth, humans dwelling on earth called this "The seven hour war".
One of the only remaining evidence of snarks remaining on their earth was in a small apartment located within a combine occupied city, in which a snark was kept in a small jar with what appeared to be Xen soil (photo provided below) it noticed the survey member he interacted with it, tapping on its glass, this peculiar snark was well fed and well kept, aside from the small jar, it was in a perfect habitat, we also took some samples of the food that the human fed it, which appears to be a mix of dried meat, veggies, and fruits, which is what we recommend you feed your snark too. However, we had to cut the excursion short and withdraw from the area as the door opened and a young woman entered. Thankfully, the survey member was not spotted, keeping the timeline unspoiled by our presence.

Picture taken by survey member.

(I debated on keeping this last bit in due to how the rest of the guide could be taken as an in canon explanation for snarks, but i decided to leave it in anyways, if you think I should remove it or keep it, leave it in the comments.)

Please do not put your snark in a small jar, it is very small and can be easily broken by the snark. A better place for a snark is either a very large jar that could fit around 3 snarks for them to be comfortable, or an aquarium that has no water in it. Of course, it is a good idea to add some Xen flora to whatever container you choose to put your snark in. After your snark is tame, and possibly declawed, you don't even need a container! Refitting a dog house to be suitable for a snark at that point is probably the best option available. Remember to keep them on a leash whenever you take them outside for a walk, regardless of how tame they are. Snarks can be unpredictable when seeing people who they do not recognize.

I am thinking about getting both a snark and a Houndeye, but I am afraid that they would start attacking each other. I would like to know if Houndeyes and snarks can get along or should I just choose one or the other
