Special Terms
  • Finesse = Weapon Finesse Perk changes Attack Roll Bonuses to Dexterity,
Rogues Finesse Training Perk changes Damage Roll Bonuses to Dexterity,
else uses Strength Bonuses like all other melee weapons do

  • Strength = Ranged Weapon that adds Strength Bonus to Damage Rolls

  • CMB = Combat Maneuver Bonus (for making maneuver against enemy)
  • CMD = Combat Maneuver Defense (for defending against enemy meneuver)

  • Monk = Monk Weapon which can be used for all Monk related Perks,
Flurry of Blows works only if the Monk Weapon is used as main Weapon

  • Double = ALL of them are essentially a 1H and a Light weapon glued together,
Paladin / Magus weapon enchants affect only the 1H part and NOT the Light part

  • Oversized = Damage Rolls are calculated with +1 to Character Size, as if using,
and stacks with, the Enlarge Person spell, but Attack Rolls get a -2 Penalty due
to the unwieldy nature of the weapon

Additional Findings / unresolved Mysteries
Either of these might be bugs or typos. Meaning in the way they were or were NOT implemented:
  • in-game Quarterstaff is not a Double weapon but still receives bonuses from that group
  • in-game Greatclub is a Simple Weapon while per the rules it is a Martial Weapon
  • Light Shield Bash can be selected with the Rogues Finesse Training perk
  • Light Spiked Shield Bash can NOT be selected with the Rogues Finesse Training perk
  • while the Tongi is very much an Axe it is NOT part of the Axes Fighter Weapon Group
  • Im unsure if Touch / Melee Touch Attacks do count as Natural Weapons
  • Im sure that Ray / Ranged Touch Attacks do NOT count as Natural Weapons
  • are touch / rays considered Light ?
  • Claws are 1H, is Bite and Gore too ?
  • some weapons have CMB / CMD against / to certain CM, did not verify

Tested 'Ginormous Sword' thoroughly :
- L3 Overhand Chop ... works
- L7 Backswing ... works
- L11 Piledriver - Bull Rush ... works
- L11 Piledriver - Trip ... works
- L15 Greater Power Attack ... works
- L17 Two-Handed Weapon Training +4 to Attack ... works
- L17 Two-Handed Weapon Training +4 to Damage ... works
- L18 Strong Grip +5 to Disarm ... works
- L18 Strong Grip +5 to Sunder Armor ... works
- L19 Devastating Blow ... works

Since all Class Features work for the 'Ginormous Sword', an Oversized Bastard Sword, its safe to assume they work for ALL Oversized weapons which are forced two-handed.

Ive added the Oversized weapon categories that are findable in the game to the tables, meaning 'Bastard Sword, Oversized', 'Greatclub, Oversized' and 'Longbow, Oversized'.
Twitchiopolis 29/out./2020 às 13:41
The Ginormous Sword is listed on its ID card as a two handed weapon, as well as a Bastard Sword.
Which does this specific weapon fall into the Two Handed group for the archetype?
Schutzengel  [autor(a)] 2/mar./2020 às 20:20
Another of these, natural Weapons. Of course I know, since I looked in the rulebooks, that ALL natural weapons are considered Light. But in the game, Claw attacks are listed as 1H.

So its likely a typo. But I cant change it since I dont know if just a typo or change in ruleset to make it work in the game. Its unresolved unless it gets fixed. And it could get fixed in either direction so I dont change it for now.
Schutzengel  [autor(a)] 2/mar./2020 às 20:15
For example the first thing on my list, the Light / Spiked Light Shield Bash. Well, the game has Weapon Focus for Light Shield Bash but also 2nd one for / called Spiked Light Shield Bash.

Finesse Weapon Training does NOT list Spiked Light Shield Bash as an option. If selecting Light Shield Bash works for Spiked Light Shield Bash then that is 100% due to a bug.

This is why I added Finesse to Light but not Spiked Light Shield Bash.
Schutzengel  [autor(a)] 2/mar./2020 às 19:50
- Natural weapons are different, they are not considered 1H, 2H, etc. They are considered Primary, and Secondary Attacks.
> game states Bite attack is 1H attack
> cant change, might be bug or typo

- Natural weapons are considered light weapons. As such, Weapon Finesse can apply.
> game states Bite attack is 1H attack so Weapon Finesse could not apply
> cant change, might be bug or typo

- Weapon bonuses to Combat manuevers are not applied in Kingmaker from what the tooltip shows when they are rolled.
> yes, I could not verify if these were in
> cant change, might be bug

Conclusion: My Additional Findings section lists all your findings as well. Yet I cant change things because either of my entries or your changes has a good chance to be typos or bugs.
Schutzengel  [autor(a)] 2/mar./2020 às 19:50
- Finesse Training, Light Shield, also applies to Spiked Light Shields.
> cant change, might be bug

- While it doesn't list the TONGI with the Axe Weapon Group, Weapon Training does apply as normal.
> cant change, might be bug or typo

- Touch Attacks, Ray Attacks, are not counted with the Fighter Weapon Groups.
> yes, that is why I put them into the not-on-Fighter-Weapon-Group

- They do not count as Natural Weapons.
> yes, I stated the same in the Additional-Findings section

- They are however affected by the Weapon Focus
*** Tested, Close Weapon Group, does not affect Touch Attacks
> yes ? no ? cant change
Sliver 2/mar./2020 às 19:32
- Natural weapons are different, they are not considered 1H, 2H, etc. They are considered Primary, and Secondary Attacks.
Primary attacks are made using the creature’s full base attack bonus and add the creature’s full Strength bonus on damage rolls. Secondary attacks are made using the creature’s base attack bonus –5 and add only 1/2 the creature’s Strength bonus on damage rolls.
Example: The Bite attack, granted from a Barbarian's Animal Fury Rage Power is made at the barbarian's full base attack bonus –5. If the bite hits, it deals 1d4 points of damage (assuming the barbarian is Medium; 1d3 points of damage if Small) plus half the barbarian's Strength modifier. This is a Secondary Attack.
- Natural weapons are considered light weapons. As such, Weapon Finesse can apply.

- Weapon bonuses to Combat manuevers are not applied in Kingmaker from what the tooltip shows when they are rolled.
Sliver 2/mar./2020 às 19:32
- Finesse Training, Light Shield, also applies to Spiked Light Shields.

- While it doesn't list the TONGI with the Axe Weapon Group, Weapon Training does apply as normal.

- Touch Attacks, Ray Attacks, are not counted with the Fighter Weapon Groups.

*** Tested, Close Weapon Group, does not affect Touch Attacks
