Using this guide you can fix that MINOR problem that SHOULDNT annoy ANYONE!

STEP 1

Go to D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\DOOM 3 BFG Edition\base\wads or where ever doom 3 bfg is installed

STEP 2

Delete doom 1 and 2 wads. (DONT DO THIS IF YOU DONT OWN DOOM 1 AND 2 on STEAM. (YOU CANT GO BACK.) make sure to leave nerve.wad. unless you dont wanna play no rest for the living.

STEP 3

Go to D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Ultimate Doom\base (or where ever Doom 1 is stored) and copy doom.wad.

STEP 4

Go back to D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\DOOM 3 BFG Edition\base\wads (OR WHERE EVER THE HELL YOU PUT DOOM 3 BFG EDITION) and press CTRL + V to paste doom 1.wad.

STEP 5

Go to D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Doom 2\base (OR WHERE YOU HAVE DOOM 2 INSTALLED) and copy doom2.wad

STEP 6

Go back to D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\DOOM 3 BFG Edition\base\wads (or where ever you put doom 3 bfg edition) and press ctrl + v to paste doom2.wad!

UMM, a joke actually fixed more things. I only did this as a joke since i saw people flipping out about the med kit change. I actually fixed something usefull. YAYYYY

Actually that also fixes the censored DOOM 2 secret Wolfenstein levels. Originally they had swastikas, portraits of Hitler and a special SS Nazi enemy, but the BFG Edition replaced the swastikas and portraits of Hitler with the random Hell trees that are from Episode 3: Inferno. And instead of the SS Nazis there are Zombiemen in the BFG Edition.

It's still better to run DOOM 1 or 2 in a sourceport rather than using the BFG Edition's shiet limited sourceport that has no mod support
