Antiquity (English)

Description
"These fields no longer yield grain the way they used to," complains the farmer.

Considered one of the grails of modern boardgaming, inspiration for several game designers, and ruthless from start to finish, Antiquity is a strategy game for 2-4 players set in an environment loosely modeled on Italy in the late Middle Ages. Players choose their own victory condition: they can focus on population growth, trade, conquest, or city building by choosing their patron saint.

While your economy is constantly improving, with more and more advanced cities bringing new options each turn, the land around your cities is slowly being depleted, forcing you to travel further and further to gather your raw materials -- until finally, there is no more land left to farm. Let's hope one of you has won the game before that time!

This is my personal take on Antiquity for TTS. I used the third edition of the game as reference, the japanese mod as main source for tokens and boards (translating it all to english!), and added several tweaks, custom models, snap points, etc.

PS: I'll update the mod with higher definition scans of the famine boards in a few days.

Love the background, and the choice of table surface. Gives the presentation such gravity and class, like an Andrew Wyeth painting or something.

The collection used this priority system:

1. Mod's Files Availability: Mod with all/most files still available for download
2. Feature completeness: Mod with greatest inclusion of expansions and/or promos available for the board game title
2. Scripting: Mod with scripting that most reduces work in setup/play for players
3. Component Quality: Mod with the best visuals/usability in terms of component quality
4. Table Setup/Ambiance: Mod with the best immersion with table, background, and other modeling.

Please also note that a mod that makes selection for this list very well could be one in which the mod author borrowed the majority of assets from another workshop listing, so full thanks to all who worked on a mod.

@Wolf > Sadly there's no online rulebook at this moment, so I'm not including it to avoid the mod removal due to legal reasons.

Congrats. Looks really nice so far. Is there an in-game version of the rulebook to refer to? Just started using TTS and the viewable rulebook on the play table in Wingspan was really handy.
