This is a scripted version of Monopoly based on CherubimCW's original work and improved upon by Buckwheat, UnTold, olejika, Zlue, and Ohrami. There are multiple scripts to better facilitate the gameplay in this edition of Monopoly.

* Calculated Wallets: Money on each player's mat is counted.
* Dice Retrieval: Dice will return after you throw them.

Buttons:
* Claim Token: Before the game starts, select a token by dragging any game piece onto the checker next to your seat and clicking the "Claim Token" button.
* Roll: After you claim a token, use this button to roll the dice in front of your seat.
* Move: The Move button will allow you to move your token once you have rolled the dice. This button will lock itself if the user is in jail; just move the token to "Just Visiting" to make it usable again! When you Move onto or past GO, you will automatically collect $200. When you're in jail, a small button will appear above this button. Click it to increment it to keep track of how many turns you've been in jail.
* Sort: The Sort button will organize your money and properties neatly.
* Convert: The Convert button will convert your bills into more manageable denominations.
* Shuffle Cards: Click this button to shuffle the Chance and Community Chest decks, and then lock them from being shuffled again.
* Houses and hotels: Near the bags of houses and hotels, there are buttons that will take a certain number of houses or hotels out of the bag and place them in the center of the board.

There is also a contextual button that changes based on the situation:
* Buy: The Buy button will purchase any property your token is currently standing on for the price listed on the board.
* Pay tax: The Pay tax button will pay $75 when standing on Luxury Tax, and 10% of total net worth when standing on Income Tax. Note that 10% might be more than $200, which is your other option; it's up to your own mental math to decide which one is better!
* Pay rent: The Pay rent button will pay the rent due after you land on a property. Because of the way utilities work, this button will only work for utilities if you move your token there using the Move button.
* Pay $50: Click "Pay $50" when you are in jail to pay $50 and move out of jail. This will unlock your movement again.

There are also two additional buttons that will appear only when there is property placed in the center of the board:
* Mortgage: This button will give you the mortgage value of unmortgaged properties as well as pay the unmortgage value of mortgaged properties. All properties will then be flipped and given to you. The amount you will receive or will have to spend will be shown by the teal counter next to the board.
* Pay interest: This button will pay just the interest on mortgaged properties placed in the center of the board. This is useful if you bankrupt someone or receive mortgaged property in a trade but don't wish to immediately unmortgage. The amount you will pay will be represented by the pink counter next to the board.

To pay players or the bank, you can use the following commands:
!<amount> (alternatively, !pay <amount> or !pay bank <amount>)
!<amount> <color> (alternatively, !pay <color> <amount>)
This will automatically transfer the desired amount to the player in question.

The bank can also pay you:
!give <amount> - gives you the amount that was entered from the bank
!give <color> <amount> - gives the specified color the amount that was entered from the bank

There are many other miscellaneous improvements to this version of scripted Monopoly over any other version. These include:

* Proper cards! Every other version of Monopoly that is available on the workshop has inauthentic card values. Several of the Chance and Community Chest cards have the wrong values, and even famous properties such as Boardwalk have the wrong rent amounts listed. All of these problems are completely fixed in this version of Monopoly.

* Sleeker, consistent board design. The board has updated graphics to better match the real game board, while still maintaining an incredibly high level of visual fidelity. It is also much more consistent, always following the design and rules of the classic, original American release of the game.

* Private wealth. While money counters are still used to keep track of your finances, its value is hidden from other players, meaning you don't have to tell them how much money you have if you don't want to!

* Neutral money counter. To trigger the neutral counter, drag money into the center of the board. You can use this to either show other players how much money you have, or use it to play with the classic "Free Parking" house rule, where the player who lands on Free Parking receives all of the money in the center of the board.

* Interest calculator. The pink counter opposite the neutral money counter will calculate the interest owed on a mortgage if you place the mortgaged property/properties in the center of the board.

* Mortgage calculator. The teal counter opposite the neutral money counter will calculate the amount you would receive or have to pay for mortgaging or unmortgaging property in the center of the board.

FULL CREDITS GO TO:

CherubimCW for the base to this scripted version of Monopoly; he created the Move command, dice retrieval script, and the money counter script as well as coordinates for each property

Buckwheat for enhancing these scripts and making most of the buttons and commands

UnTold and Ohrami for modifying the game board to give better graphics and board design more faithful to the original game

olejika for adding the contextually changing "Buy" button, accidental jail movement prevention, "Roll" button, automatic GO collection, and just about every single other button or feature not mentioned previously

Zlue for adding the "Mortgage" and "Pay Interest" buttons, making the !pay command a bit more convenient, improving the neatness of the table's design, and some minor bug fixes

Made another very small visual upgrade. The title deeds were for whatever reason set to be "rounded" rectangular cards. I changed them so they are no longer rounded. This is much more accurate to their appearance in the real game.
The sizes of the bank notes as well as the title deeds are too small in the current version relative to the board, by about 3-4x roughly. I'm considering changing the title deeds so that they are larger, but it really makes it tough to hold everything in a reasonable amount of space, and would require much of the script/objects in the mod to be overhauled. Perhaps we should just imagine that the title deeds and bank notes are normal size and that the board is simply gigantic.

Bug fixed, changes reimplemented

Due to a pretty bad glitch with the new update, I've reverted everything except the Chance and Community Chest card change while working on fixing it.

Another update, this time mostly thanks to Zlue. On my end, the Chance/Community Chest cards are improved yet again, likely to their final version. No more censorship on the Bank Pays You Dividend of $50 card, and they're much higher-quality and nicer-looking.
On Zlue's end, the table had a few minor changes that had a pretty major effect on the table's neatness. Now players' wallet trays, dice, and buttons don't appear until the player has claimed a token, which makes the table look a lot more clean. He also made it so the !pay command is easier to use, now functioning with just !<amount>.
Furthermore, he added two new buttons to each player: Mortgage and Pay Interest. Their functionality is described in the submission description.

I don't like the 2008 version of the game at all, either stylistically or gameplay-wise. I think it looks and plays worse, so I try to pretend it never existed. However, I did find high-resolution scans of every card except for the Chance card Advance to Nearest Railroad. I contacted the guy who uploaded the scans and he said he can get that one uploaded too. I will change the cards to that once he does so. Not only is there less censorship, the colors are more accurate (they look like extremely high quality photos of the actual cards themselves).

You could use the 2008 cards and then you won't have to deal with censoring, I do have the nostalgia tin from WS Game Company so I can help with the "BANK PAYS YOU DIVIDEND OF $50" card

I made some significant updates to the appearance of the game. I altered the size of the tokens to more accurately match the size of the original tokens. I also altered the colors of the board and the properties to make it more accurately represent the original board. Finally, I replaced the game's Chance and Community Chest cards to look exactly like the original game's Chance and Community Chest cards. Unfortunately, I could only find the censored version of the "BANK PAYS YOU DIVIDEND OF $50" card in a high quality, so you'll have to deal with that until I can find a high-res scan of the original card.

I made some minor updates. I got rid of the distracting background and added the dog token.

You take your token and move it manually. I'm not sure what you mean by "the roll with start where I was before."

mhh I seem to be a bit confused witht he chance and community card. if a card tells me go to x place then... what do I do. I take my token myself and move it. because if I do that, the roll with start where I was before. unless theres a special way I didnt think off
