How To Make a Sim/Plumbot Cyborg (A Simborg!)
By Skiptomylou
“Trout's leading robot looked like a human being, and could talk and dance and so on, and go out with girls. And nobody held it against him that he dropped jellied gasoline on people. But they found his halitosis unforgivable. But then he cleared that up, and he was welcomed to the human race.” -Vonnegut

Introduction
Welcome to Skippie's guide on creating your first simborg. Your first one is always the sweetest! It took me a few hours of fiddling around with the Master Controller (more on that later) before I found the sweet spot and I've been playing around with my simborg for several days now just to make sure my save wouldn't implode before giving you this guide. With that said, please read the disclaimer below:

Disclaimer: Like with any form of modding, be sure to back up your save game before fiddling with powers beyond your control. What you are about to do, technically, shouldn't be possible. Therefor, if your save implodes or the girl from The Ring comes out of your computer and devours your face, I wipe my hands clean of any responsibility.

On the plus side, nothing terrible has happened to my game after about 3 days of playtesting. No CTD's, no corrupt saves and no major bugs. Minor bugs, yes. But nothing that you can't fix in two seconds. Anything is possible though.
Requirements
In order to make your first simborg you absolutely must download the Master Controller[nraas.wikispaces.com]. You will also need the Master Controller Cheats module/plugin. It can be found on the same page as the default Master Controller. You will need both! If someone could find a way to do this in vanilla Sims, I would ♥♥♥♥ bricks.

Obviously, you'll need the Into The Future expansion pack. However, you will also need the Ambitions expansion pack.

It probably wouldn't hurt to have your game updated to the latest patch either, which at the time of this writing is 1.63.
Chapter 1: Play God or Jelly Bean Death Trying
So you have the Master Controller and you have the expansion packs. Great! Now we're rolling. Take some time to familiarize yourself with the Master Controller. It's a pretty sweet tool and Twallan, the mod's designer, has clearly put a lot of love and attention into this puppy.

The dinner plate's ready, so let's dig in!

Step 1: Create or buy your plumbot! I've tested both ways and it really doesn't matter which you choose. If you don't know what I'm talking about you probably want to play the expansion pack a little bit or look up a guide on plumbots. Otherwise, let's move on to step 2.

Step 2: Open up the master controller! You can do this by clicking your new plumbot. This will open up the Master Controller's main screen. From the main screen, you'll want to click Intermediate. After clicking intermediate, follow it up by clicking Add: Occult.

Step 3: After that, you will be brought to a list of different occult types. Click Simbot. Why? Because simbots can be made to look human. Plumbots themselves are a little more finicky. Don't worry though. Your new simborg will still have all of the sweet new features of a plumbot.

Step 4:Great! Your plumbot-simbot is now ready for a facelift. Open up Master Controller again by clicking on your plumbot. This time we're going to click Advanced. From there you want to click Edit in CAS.

Step 5: From this point on, you'll want to click the bin where all of the premade sims are. Go ahead and choose one you've already created or click one of the pre-made vanilla ones. Feel free to edit him/her to your likings. Then just confirm that you are done.

Voila! You now have a fully functional simborg!

But we're not done yet. Read on to find out about the bugs associated with this and how you can fix them.
The Only Good Bug is a Dead Bug!
Hopefully you've backed up your save. If not, you're screwed. Well, maybe. I really don't know what will happen to you. But I do know one thing: you're going to need to keep Master Controller installed.

There's a pretty annoying bug, albeit a minor one, where another sim will not be able to click on your simborg. It's kind of annoying, and it doesn't happen very often, but its a pretty simple fix. Just open up your Master Controller and go to advanced. From there just click "Reset Sim". Problem solved. You'll probably only need to do this once but if it comes up again for you just reset your sim again. If you run into any other bugs just do the same thing to fix it. There's really nothing MC can't fix.

Personally, I haven't run into any more bugs than that. I couldn't find any guides online on how to do this so I have no clue if this is the best way to create a simborg, but it works for me. If you have a better way or are having any troubles, hit me up in the comments. I'll be happy to help!

Help, my Simborg doesn't have a freakin' face!!
It's been reported that if your finished Simborg doesn't have a face, try this:

Click 'Edit in CAS' on the plumbot, import a saved sim from the bin (just like usual) and THEN edit something on that saved sim before hitting finish.

Nevermind, I managed to find an alternate method that doesn't use MC.
Here's a link!

Having the same issue. I get to step 4 and it just opens Plumbot CAS. I open the Premade sims bin in the Plumbot CAS menu and all it shows are other Plumbots. Can you be more specific about where I'm supposed to import the premade sim from?

No problem, hope no more issues crop up. It is a little finicky but you totally made me want to start playing Sims 3 again, so cheers!

Ok, first step, download all of the mods I list in the "Requirements" section. Then boot up Sims 3. Then create either create or buy a Plumbot. Then, click on the plumbot and in the selection menu click "Master Controller". After that click on the screen that says "Intermediate". After that click "Add: Occult". Then a bunch of occult types will pop up. Click "Simbot". After that click "Edit in CAS". This will open up the 'Create a Sim' menu (the exact same one as if you were designing a human sim). At this point, click the Premade Sim Bin. Steam does not let you post links in comments but if you google "Sims 3 premade sims bin" it will show you pictutes of what I am talking about. From there, just pick a saved sim and hit the check mark. After that, just click finished and you're done.

Thank you for the Info but can I bother you for a more step to step method I'm still quite new to all this.

@alexanderkeshwar Sorry for the late reply, I hope you managed to figure it out! But if not, I THINK this is normal. I have to apologize ahead of time, I haven't played the Sims 3 seriously for a few years now. However if I remember correctly, when you click 'Edit in CAS' in Master Controller it WILL bring up the Plumbot CAS. You need to open the 'Preset Saved Sims' bin. I am pretty sure you HAVE to import a premade sim that you already created and saved for this to work. Just make sure you edit the Sim somehow because if you scroll down in the comments there is a bug where if you do not edit the sim (just edit the eye color of the saved sim and edit it back or something) it might not have a face. I never experienced this, but it is possible. If you still need help, don't hesitate to ask.

Hello I'v tried your method but every time I go to the fourth step it goes to the Plumbot CAS instead of the sim CAS do you have any advice to help me?
