Description
After searching for numerous mods to recover metal ingots from dungeon loot, I quickly grew tired of mods trying to add many extra steps and items. So, I made my own.

Name says it all, simple recipes to breakdown most armor and weapons in the game to their base components. There is loss involved to keep exploiting it too much down.

As long as you have the required perk to create items out of the material the item is made out of (Orcish Smithing for items made out of orihalcam, etc), you can deconstruct it at a forge for some experience. You will generally get back one less ingot that it would take to make, or only the original ingot and not all the extra components.

Most recipes will be on the Misc tab, since they create ingots. Daedric purification recipes turn daedric armor into ebony, and will be under the tab you would normally find that item under.

Might need to use Loot to check your load order just in case.

For whatever reason I haven't been able to deconstruct steel armor and orcish armor despite having the crafting perks.

I'm working on adding in a "Deconstruct" category, but that takes a bit more knowledge than I know currently so some studying is needed.

No, I found it, it is on the forge under Misc...

It's rather simple. If you have the skill to create it, you can deconstruct it at a forge.
I'm still trying to recover the "instructions" from the time it was posted before, but it appears once steam overwrites it, it's permanent.

@ RaGe - I have a sililar mod. It uses a Smelter to 'deconstruct' items...maybe the same here? :plane:

You do not have ANY instructions on how to deconstruct items. Either the mod is not working for me, or I havn't guessed correctly how to use it. Directions would be nice.
