Taking the Scenic Route
Description: Discover a "?" Bonus Path

The majority of stages in Warped have a Bonus Path that are denoted by a ? mark. Simply stepping on one and being taken to the Bonus Stage will unlock the achievement. Below is a screenshot of what a Bonus Path looks like if you need a visual reference.
Your Moment of Zen
Description: Avoid whatever he's flinging at you

This achievement can be done in Level 9 : Tomb Time. Play the level until you get to this area.

A monkey will start appearing out of one of the four vases and throw objects at you.

After a minute or so of dodging the objects, the monkey will quit appearing. Destroy the vases to get the achievement.
Category Five
Description: Defeat 5 enemies with Coco's Savage Hurricane Spin

In order to do the Savage Hurricane Spin, you must have Death Tornado Spin from N. Tropy. See A Nefarious Trophy for help on beating N. Tropy if you are having a hard time.

After you obtain the Death Tornado Spin, select Coco as your character and load up any particular level with combat such as Level 1 : Toad Village. Once you are in the level, go up to an enemy and tap the spin button to perform the move. Repeat the process on four more enemies to unlock the achievement.
The Riddle of the Sphynx
Description: Have your bazooka ready

For this achievement, you will need to have obtained the Fruit Bazooka from N. Gin. For help on defeating N. Gin, refer to the Mech Wrecked, Again! section of the guide.

Once you have the Fruit Bazooka in your possession, head to Level 9 : Tomb Time. In the background upon entering the level, you will see a sphynx with the head of Cortex gazing at you.

Walk closer to the sphynx and aim for the left or right side of the face until your crosshair turns red.

Shoot the sphynx to get an extra life and the achievement.
Trigger Clickin' Good
Description: Shoot 5 of them in a single level

For this achievement you will need the Fruit Bazooka. For help on obtaining it, refer to the Mech Wrecked, Again! section of the guide.

Once you have the Fruit Bazooka, load up Level 1 : Toad Village. At the start of the level you will notice a chicken walking around.

Pick up the stop watch nearby to start a time trial and then shoot the chicken with your Fruit Bazooka. Once you have done so, pause the game and choose the restart option. Do this process four more times to unlock the achievement.
Accept No Substitutes
Description: Shoot the imposter

Before you can do this achievement, you must have at least 100% completion. After getting 100% completion, head to Level 1 : Toad Village and proceed in the level until you reach this section.

Hop over the obstacle and on the immediate right look for a house with a fake Crash standing in front of it.

Shoot him with your Fruit Bazooka to unlock the achievement.
Warts and All
Description: Die

In order to unlock this achievement, you must be killed by a wizard in either Level 6 : Gee Wiz or Level 15 : Double Header. Make your way to either level and proceed until you come across a wizard. The wizard will shoot a homing orb like so at you.

Let it hit you so you turn into a frog thus unlocking the achievement.
Keeping Crash Under Wraps
Description: Die

The dying this achievement wants you to do must come at the hands of a mummy. Specifically, the mummies located in Level 16 : Sphynxinator and Level 20 : Tomb Wader. Proceed in either level until you come across a sarcophagus walking around like so.

Spin the sarcophagus open to reveal the mummy inside.

Now let the mummy grab and kill you thus unlocking the achievement.
UFO Xing
Description: Discovered the Secret Exit in Road Crash

In Level 14 : Road Crash, proceed in the level until you come across two pairs of barricades on the road. On the left side of the road directly after them will be a road sign with an alien logo on it. Drive into it to be transported to the secret level Hot Coco.
Getting Carried Away
Description: Discovered the Secret Exit in Dino Might!

Before you can tackle this achievement, you must have knocked out a few prerequisite objectives:

You must have obtained at least 10 Relics to unlock the secret warp room and Level 27 : Hang 'Em High.

You must have the Yellow Gem from Level 27 : Hang 'Em High. See the section for A Cut Above the Rest to get help obtaining it if you do not have it yet.

After doing the above, load up Level 11 : Dino Might! and proceed until you come across the Yellow Gem path.

Complete the Yellow Gem path until you come to this area.

Drop down and start the dinosaur chase. Upon reaching the second pterodactyl sitting on a log, run into it so it grabs you and takes you to the secret level Eggipus Rex.
A Stitch in Time Saves 99
Description: Earn 99 Lives

I would recommend that this achievement be left until after you have finished the majority, if not all of the game to reduce farming time. If by the time you finish the game you are still short lives, load Level 16 : Sphynxinator and walk towards yourself at the start to obtain a life.

After you have that life, head towards the fork in path behind you and go left to get to this area.

Death Tornado Spin across the gap and follow the path until you reach four lives at the end of the path. Pick them up and then quit the level and load your save to make them respawn. Repeat until you have 99 lives.
Buckle Up, Boys, Buckle Up!
Description: Earn 5 Relics

Is There a Problem, Granny?!
Description: Earn 10 gold or platinum Relics

See Boo-yah, Grandma! Boo-yah!
Boo-yah, Grandma! Boo-yah!
Description: Earn 30 gold or platinum relics

The hardest achievement in the game. Thankfully the time trials in Warped are easier than Crash Bandicoot and Crash Bandicoot 2. However, that does not mean the trials are a pushover. Some of them will most likely take you a few attempts to reach gold or platinum. To start a time trial, touch the stop watch that appears after finishing a level.

While it is possible to obtain the gold relics without first getting the Crash Dash ability, I recommend you do so in order to make it easier for yourself. If you do not have the Crash Dash ability, see Cortex N. Carcerated for help on defeating Cortex.

A few tips on the time trials are:

In the underwater levels Crash moves faster when he is spinning.

Use the Crash Dash ability (default button is the button you use to switch characters) when possible.

Try to cut corners as much as you are comfortable doing. While risky doing so can save a fair amount of time.

The invincibility from obtaining three Aku-Aku masks can make levels very easy provided you can obtain three without taking a hit.

While some time stop boxes may look tempting to get they can sometimes take up more time getting them than you would save by doing so. If it's more than a second or two out of your way to get ignore the box.

Below is a table that shows the time needed for the gold relic on each applicable level with the exceptions of Hot Coco and Eggipus Rex. Neither the Hot Coco nor Eggipus Rex levels shows the relic times in game thus I will be using my gold relic times as a reference point for you to aim at.

Not a Scratch (Give It Time)
Description: Discover a Death Route

Death Routes are platforms with a skull and crossbones pattern that only appear if you make it to them without dying in the stages they are located in. The achievement will unlock upon stepping on a Death Route platform for the first time. I would recommend that you practice the levels with Death Routes in them via Time Trials to save your lives until you are comfortable in your knowledge of the level. There are four Death Routes located in the game in the the levels listed below.

Level 13 : High Time
Level 20 : Tomb Wader
Level 23 : Flaming Passion
Level 31 : Future Tense

Below is a screenshot of a Death Route platform to help you identify them if you are still unsure of what to look out for.
Giving 102%!
Description: Earn the gems in the bonus levels

The bonus levels are Hot Coco and Eggipus Rex. If you need help in unlocking those levels, see UFO Xing and Getting Carried Away. Once you are in those levels you can obtain the gems by smashing all of the boxes in Hot Coco and for finishing the level in Eggipus Rex.
A Cut Above the Rest
Description: Discover a Gem Path after earning a Color Gem

A Gem Path is a colored circular platform that will spawn in particular levels after you obtain the colored gem associated with it. The following are the locations of the colored gems and their corresponding Gem Path.

Purple Gem: The Purple Gem is obtained at the end of the Death Route in Level 13 : High Time. The Gem Paths it unlocks are found on Level 9 : Tomb Time and Level 25 : Bug Lite.

Blue Gem: The Blue Gem is obtained at the end of the Death Route in Level 20 : Tomb Wader. The Gem Paths it unlocks are found on Level 16 : Sphynxinator and Level 25 : Bug Lite.

Green Gem: The Green Gem is obtained at the end of the Death Route in Level 23 : Flaming Passion. The Gem Paths it unlocks are found on Level 21 : Gone Tomorrow and Level 25 : Bug Lite.

Yellow Gem: The Yellow Gem is obtained when you finish Level 27 : Hang 'Em High which is found in the hidden warp room that is unlocked after obtaining 10 Relics. The Gem Paths it unlocks are found in Level 11: Dino Might! and Level 25 : Bug Lite.

Red Gem: The Red Gem is obtained in Level 12: Deep Trouble after hitting a ! block and backtracking a bit through the level. The Gem Paths it unlocks are found in Level 4 : Bone Yard and Level 25 : Bug Lite.

Below are a few screenshots to help guide you to the Red Gem in Level 12 : Deep Trouble.
Leave No Gem Unturned
Description: Earn 21 Gems

See Bringing Down the House for more information.
Bringing Down the House
Description: Earn 42 Gems

The Gems the achievement refers to are Clear Gems since Colored Gems do not count towards the total. There are 47 possible Clear Gems to get that count towards this achievement with the vast majority of them coming from breaking all boxes in a level or from completing Death and Colored Gem Routes. It is advised however that you wait until you have every upgrade before trying to get all of the Gems in order to make it as easy as possible.

A few of the Clear Gems come from other sources. The following are a list of Clear Gems that are not obtained from breaking all boxes, completing a Death Route or completing a Colored Gem path.

Level 19 : Future Frenzy. You get the second Clear Gem from this level by completing the alternate entrance to Level 19 : Future Frenzy located in the secret warp room. The level number for the alternate entrance is 29. In order for the entrance to be unlocked you must have obtained 20 relics of any rarity.

Level 28 : Area 51?. The Clear Gem for this level is acquired by finishing in first place in the race against the UFOs.

Level 30 : Rings of Power. The Clear Gem for this level is acquired by finishing in first place in the race against the other airplanes.

Eggipus Rex. The Clear Gem for this level is obtained by finishing the level.

Obtaining gold or platinum relics on the 30 base game levels along with Eggipus Rex and Hot Coco will cause a Clear Gem to spawn next to the computer in The Time Twister.

Tiny Trounced
Description: Defeat Tiny Tiger

Tiny Tiger is the first boss of the game whom is unlocked after obtaining five Crystals. It is a simple fight with two phases.

The first phase he will jump around trying to squash you.

After doing this a few times his trident will become stuck in the ground. This is your opportunity to attack him.

After hitting him, the gates in the background will open and lions will run out of them. Spin any lions away that are running down your lane.

After the lions stop coming out, repeat the above steps two more times to defeat him and unlock the Super Charged Body Slam ability.
Penta's Revenge
Description: Defeat Dingodile

Dingodile is the second boss in the game whom is unlocked after getting all of the Crystals in the second warp area.

Dingodile has two attacks. The first attack he does rains down fireballs from the sky that cover a good portion of the open area in the arena.

After he does that he will try to fry you to a crisp with his flamethrower. Look at where he is aiming to know what portion of the arena to avoid.

Once he breaks away enough of the ice walls blocking your path to him, spin into him to damage him but after doing so quickly run away since the pack on his back explodes after a few seconds.

Repeat the above steps two more times to defeat him and to unlock the Double Jump ability.
A Nefarious Trophy
Description: Defeat N. Tropy

You unlock the N. Tropy fight after getting all of the Crystals in the third warp area.

The fight consists of two attacks. N. Tropy will shoot orbs at you that you have to avoid.

He also shoots lasers at you that you must avoid.

After dodging a few of his attacks, a pathway to him will form allowing you to hit him.

Repeat the process two more times to defeat him and unlock the Death Tornado Spin ability.
Mech Wrecked, Again!
Description: Defeat N. Gin

You unlock N. Gin's fight after obtaining all of the Crystals in the fourth warp area.

N. Gin will fire missiles and use the miniguns attached to his arms to shoot at you in phase one.

To beat the first form of his mech, destroy the yellow weak points on his mech. After his first form is beaten his mech will transform into a different form and do the above attacks from the first phase along with an orb attack.

Destroy the yellow weakpoints again to defeat him and unlock the Fruit Bazooka ability.
Cortex N. Carcerated
Description: Defeat N. Cortex

Neo Cortex is the final boss of the game and he can be unlocked after earning all of the Crystals in the fifth warp area.

Neo Cortex has two attacks plus you have to avoid Aku-Aku and Uka-Uka fighting in the arena. He will fire orbs at you. Move out of the way of them to avoid being hit.

The second attack are mines that he places on the ground that detonate after a few seconds.

Once the mines start to detonate, his shield will come down leaving him vulnerable to an attack from you.

Spin into him to knock him onto the ground.

Once he is on the ground, spin him into the hole pictured in the screenshot above. Do this two more times to defeat him and to unlock the Crash Dash ability.
Fruit Fighter
Description: Shoot a background UFO in Future Tense

This is the first of two Future Tense DLC achievements. Shortly after starting the level you will come across this area.

Every 30 to 35 seconds, a UFO will fly close to where you are standing. Shoot it with the Fruit Bazooka to unlock this achievement.
The Future is Clear
Description: Seek and destroy. Again

In order to unlock the final DLC achievement, you must obtain both Clear Gems in Level 31: Future Tense. The first Clear Gem is obtained from destroying all 145 boxes scattered throughout the level. The second Clear Gem comes from completing the Death Route. As the Death Route has boxes needed for the first Clear Gem you must do the Death Route in your box run.

To unlock the Death Route, you will need to do the following along with not dying in the level. First, you must jump on top of the first metallic tube you go up and shoot the ! box located on the left side of the screen.

Secondly, when you come to this area jump on the bouncy box and go up and to the left to land on a walkway.

Follow the walkway to the end to discover the Death Route.

Once you are inside the Death Route, there will be a checkpoint box for you to activate allowing you to try the Death Route for as long as you have lives. Completing it to the end will give you the Clear Gem.

After you exit the Death Route, finish the level as you normally would while breaking all of the boxes remaining. If you wait until after you finish the Death Route to hit the checkpoint box pictured in the bouncy box screenshot, you won't have to do the Death Route over again if you happen to die.

Once you destroy all 145 boxes and get to the end of the level, you will obtain the second Clear Gem and the achievement will unlock.

The guide has been updated to mention that it is possible to get the relics without Speed Shoes/Crash Dash. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
Winter Rose 8. úno. v 23.09
It's actually possible to do gold times in all levels without speed shoes if you use sliding a lot. Timer is just forgiving enough, even in Tomb Wader. Speed shoes are a safer bet, but are not required outside platinum relics.

might be, but i died a lot in sphinxinator while trying to whirlwind jump over that freaking gap :-D
Kryoxide  [autor] 14. úno. 2023 v 18.38
Each run of Sphynxinator takes about 45 to 60 seconds when factoring in reloading along with having a low chance of failure. By the time you get Future Tense down good enough to be able to speed run it efficiently for Lives, you could have already farmed the remaining Lives you need in Sphynxinator.

Future Tense is the best level to earn the 99 lives achievement in crash 3. once you know the level, it is possible to get around 10-12 lives in one walkthrough
