This map simulates what happened in a more simple state, since gmod's engine wouldn't be able to handle the amount of buttons and named entities. Either way its still rather accurate.

The plot of the map is to perform the safety test that blew up the reactor, below you will find instructions and translations to all the buttons in the control room.

I will be adding more to this overtime but due to this map literally hitting the limits of the source engine i probably wont be adding or changing much. So far this is more of a rollplay/scenic map.

- More button interactions
- Exterior to power plant
- Access to the reactor before and after explosion
- Basement level
- More radiation, in a non hostile way
- Graphite blocks
- More cinematic sounds
- Maybe firetrucks outside the window


First activate all three of these reactor start up buttons in order!
This will boot up the reactor and the systems around you.


After you have turned on the reactor press the power increase button (the green button)
This will slowly build up the power and move the pin wheel, you need to get it to 700, which is highlighted in red.
After it has hit the 700 mark, press the red button to stop the pin.


After you have the power on 700, disable the water pumps. You will notice the chart behind the console will start to change, slowly closing the pipes and draining the water that's left inside the reactor.


After you have done that, you will then need to insert the control rods, from this point onward's you will notice the reactor has a few warnings flashing around. This means that something is wrong and will need to shut down the reactor.


To shut down the reactor you will need to press the AZ-5 Button, which is basically a scram button that stops all reactions, but in our case it will increase the reaction due to the material of the control rods.
From there onward's just relax and enjoy the ride that is to come in a few seconds.


And if your lazy, there is a button in the corner of the room that blows it up instantly, with no need of having to go through all the controlls.
