Duskguard Amulet

Craftable amulet that shields vampires from the effects sunlight with a cloak of darkness. Requires Dawnguard.

This amulet cloaks its wearer in shadow while outdoors during daylight hours, protecting them from the sun. It will counteract the health, magicka, and stamina amount and regeneration penalties imposed by vampirism during the day. The effect automatically disappears at nighttime, while indoors, and during an Eclipse. The visual effect works for all characters, but only vampires will receive the stat bonuses while wearing it, and only at times when they are exposed to sunlight. The enchantment also correctly compensates the amount of health, magicka, and stamina given based on what stage of vampirism you're currently in. The amulet does not protect against the weakness to fire vampires have, however.

The amulet is craftable at any forge under the "jewelry" category, but requires several rare ingredients to keep low-level players from having access to it right away (one of each):

-Gold Ingot
-Ebony Ingot
-Nightshade
-Vampire Dust
-Daedra Heart
-Void Salts

This mod requires Dawnguard to be installed. Unfortunately, it will not protect you from sunlight while in Vampire Lord form, as none of the equipment you're wearing affects you while transformed. Also if you use other mods that alter the properties of vampirism, the visual effect of the amulet will likely still work, but the stat bonuses will not line up if that mod imposes different penalties for stats, and will not trigger for any mod-specific special effects. I have a link to compatibility patches I've made for this mod to work with Better Vampires and Vampiric Thirst posted further down in the description.

Note that between the hours of 5AM and 6AM, you will get the "blood boils in the sun" notification, but your shadowcloak won't appear. Don't worry, this is normal and the countermeasure effects are still active at this time. I just chose to make the visual effect start and end an hour after the stat effects activate/deactivate to more accurately line up with the actual sunrise/sunset in Skyrim. Likewise, even though your stat effects will deactivate along with the vampire debuffs at 7PM, I chose to keep the visual effect enabled until 8PM when it's completely dark.

The stat bonuses are designed for Skyrim's default vampirism, so if you use other mods that affect how vampirism works, chances are the stat bonuses from my amulet and penalties from that mod will not line up. It also won't stop any extra effects those mods may add like taking damage from sunlight.

However, for BETTER VAMPIRES or VAMPIRIC THIRST users I have made compatible versions of my file that will work properly with the way these mods alter vampirisim. You can find them on my Skyrim Nexus page.[skyrim.nexusmods.com]

Read the additional details and follow the installation instructions I have listed in my nexus description for those. Both compatibility versions require you to have the Dawnguard versions of BV and VT.
