Asteroid mining is booming, and it's increasingly hard to acquire proper licenses. Your branch of the company is tasked with mining in a not exactly legal area. But it looks like one of your competitors had the same idea! Crippling their ships in this remote area should be okay; they are breaking the law anyway!
